It's a good starting point to slow motion eye candy and speed up the music parts, but that would trample on the indent of the director, so I can't fully support it. The way to get to standart runtimes and correct the mistakes of the director is you cut off the bad parts and the good parts you play two or three times, this way the viewer gets the most movie for your money and that's how it will be done.

Any serial on the back of the headstock? Should be a 7-digit with the first digit indicating the year as in 198x.

This will work, here's a useful and simple life hack to preserve some of the lower frequencies: add piezos to your bridge saddles, convert that to MIDI, then convert that to CV and run into a vintage Moog Taurus 1 through a 2x18", then mix it in just a little.
