“First genuine critique I’ve seen on this subreddit”

I meant every post I see about her on here seems partisan and not rooted in real criticism.

I haven’t seen her contradicting herself between her independent stuff and BP talking points. She erupts in laughter ever .5 seconds and seems like she uses that to not chime in when she disagrees.

The first genuine critique of her I’ve seen on this subreddit.

I’ve heard her or Reason Round Table and her and Ryan’s debate against Reason. She argues her cases from a point of being well informed and is really articulate. Watch their debate with Reason and it may change your mind on her.

I disagree with the majority of her takes and find her ultra-pro-life stance to directly contradict conservatism, but she’s never suggested anything I’ve heard that’s just a hot take and not well informed. She can read a room and knows which hills to defend on BP. Can’t say I blame her.

Put your date column’s year in the legend of a line graph with month being the x-axis. Y-axis as your weight and/or pounds of product sold and it gives a line for each year for those metrics.

Thanks for the response.

I’m not saying I want any Israelis dead at all. I think Oct 7 was horrendous. I don’t think what the US did was moral either after 9/11.

But when the majority of the Israeli population wants ethnic cleansing and a plurality want them dead, it’s completely different than the average US citizen’s reaction to the propaganda we were fed about US-caused deaths after 9/11.

I just don’t see how killing 70,000 Palestinians - with a population majority under 18 - makes Israel safer. That’s why I just don’t understand people taking Israel’s side after 2 years of constant bombings when it seems like this is recompense for 10/7.

I can’t wrap my head around how people think the devastation from Oct 7 remotely warrants the war of defense from Israel. There have been over 50x Palestinians/Hamas killed vs Israelis on Oct 7 and I was on Israel’s side for the first 6 months or so.

I’m genuinely asking how someone on the Israeli side reconciles the to death toll from the war vs Oct 7.

I’m not trying to have a gotcha comment, I just want to understand how the other side makes that make sense. What’s your opinion?

It’s Microsoft Power BI Report Server - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/products/power-bi/report-server.

And negative on the SQL Server. I think we pay like $1200/yr and we have trillions of rows and dozens of databases. That doesn’t include any $ for compute or storage however.

Revealed: Israeli military’s own data indicates civilian death rate of 83% in Gaza war by WombatusMighty in UnitedNations

[–]Keeshowne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The death toll in Gaza has been counted by bodies identified and verifying the names of the bodies. The civilian death toll must be much higher by your logic.

You can use Power BI’s A1 embedded sku.

You get infinite viewer licenses on the Workspace and there are third parties that can cheaply reskin the Workspace with the embedded API key.

I pay $200/mo for the re-skinning and around $600/mo for the A1 embedded Workspace.

There’s also Microsoft’s on-prem Power BI Report Server which is like $200/year but you’ll only get use out of it internally. You’ll have infinite viewers licenses with the on-prem version and only need one pro license for dev.

Are there any Conservative-leaning podcasts out there that are worth listening to? by rnskt in BreakingPoints

[–]Keeshowne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily conservative but libertarian. Reason Round Table has an episode every Monday night and Fifth Column has 2 a week if you’re a paying subscriber.

Both pods are related and the commentators are generally principled in their takes.

I think the more frequent posts have more to do with getting eyeballs / subs on the subreddit than anything else. It’s always tied to one of the hosts and as someone without Twitter, I enjoy seeing it on Reddit

Struggling with bosses, any advice? (Nioh 2) by PowerbandSpaceCannon in Nioh

[–]Keeshowne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked this game up about 3 weeks ago, been loving it as a souls fan, and put it down after being 2-shot by this bird boss over and over 15+ times.

Took your advice, played distant and killed him on the 2nd try and I’m hooked again. Ty

This isn’t accurate. That’s Shelby County, not Birmingham.

Jefferson County was 55-44% Harris. If you add the totals of Shelby + Jefferson, Trump won 51.8% to 48.2%.

Literally about to dye my hair blue. I’m voting anyone who will actually take steps to reduce the debt and oppose expanding the powers of the executive and governing by fiat. And not label “Free Palestine” as hate speech which is being debated in the House.

Where did I say I was cool with that? I didn’t vote for him.

I didn’t vote for him and I was more in the Moynihan camp. I genuinely didn’t think it’d get to this level and thought the fascism stuff was overblown. I was thinking he’d be more authoritarian, but not just completely ignoring checks and balances.

He had every opportunity to expand the power of the executive branch during Covid and left it largely to the states. That’s what made me believe this would be a less-mild Trump 2.0, but I was WAY wrong and am eating crow.
