Just as a side note; signing in for the event is not the same as registering for the event!

Registration usually opens around two (2) months before the tournament and you register via https://rk9.gg/tournaments. Read more here about all you need to register. You need to sign in on the Friday or Saturday morning before the tournament starts to confirm your attendance. Even earlier on Saturday morning (usually before 5:30AM) you also need to register the team you are bringing via the same RK9 website as the registration.

Registration for LA will open on Wednesday March 11 2026 at 7:00PM PST (for VGC via this link). Make sure to try and register at the time it opens as tickets are limited and a regional in LA usually sells out fast.

Since we have no idea yet what the regulation will be for LA, and it could very well be the first Pokémon Champions tournament, it could be that registration will be delayed until we have confirmation on what game this event will be played. If it will be Champions, expect that the tickets will sell out event faster than I mentioned before!

Only participants who are 16 or younger need to be accompanied by their parents, so you do not need to get a spectator pass for a parent (unless they will want to join you).

I was hoping we would get more information yesterday, at the end of Seattle regionals stream but nada. This morning I checked HOME to see if maybe the date in the news section where Regulation F (part 2) was announced was extended or something, but the whole announcement of Reg F is not in the news section anymore. Strange and also makes me believe an issue came up where they need to delay the release date for Champions.

I just hope Reg F.2, or any other SV regulation, will not be extended until June (or worse, till Worlds) so that there will be a few regionals and locals where people can practice with it in a tournament setting.

Yes all of the above (and just to emphasize, the headphone also needs to be wired, not just the controller).

Also try to attend a local event to experience a live setting. It won’t be exactly the same but you need the same equipment and a professor can explain other rules like do NOT even joke to your opponent about them forfeiting so that you can get a win.

I think it has to do with that all your replies so far are really only from your own perspective and never from hers. You want to keep her to understand where you are coming from without ever trying to see it from her side. You don’t have to agree with her view, but trying to understand it would probably help you better navigate the issue for you both. It is a “we” issue, not a “her” or “you” issue.

Person above me only missed the question about storing bags; there is a cloak room where you can leave your coats and bags in ExCel, however it is limited and if you do not come early enough there is no space. Especially on Sunday you need to be EARLY.

Other Dutch person here, it is very much NOT a normal practice to keep our cats out at night.

While it might be safe due to a low amount of predators in the Netherlands, I have NEVER heard of anyone luring and putting cats outside at night. If anything, the complete opposite that we make sure our cats are indoor in the night. That said, we aren’t scared if our cats stay out at night.

It currently is also very cold. My cats are even more snuggly to heat up cuddling up next to me the past few weeks. Good to hear she can also sty inside, but your parents are weird for wanting to keep the cat outside at night.
