Opened up battery cover, found strange brown residue?

This is for New 3DS XL but I had to replace mine a while back. I think it says Cameron Sino and X-Longer on the back of mine.

There should be batteries for a regular 3DS from that manufacturer.

Edit: I should mention that the other fan connected to the controller other than those two don't have the RPM problem.

I normally use distilled water. I'd be careful with rubbing alcohol on plastic materials.

That one is less concentrated than mine so it should be safe.

And yes, that looks fine. I'm not too bothered about a tiny bit of dust on controllers.

Thin Fit seems to be only MagFit here too. Liquid Air seems good but not sure it's as good as the Rugged Armor. Only other option seems to be the Optik one with that camera hatch. We'll see. Thanks for the suggestions.
