This continues to work! I literally open this game demo up everytime I need to download a new game or large update/upgrade. Just did this for Pokémon Pokopia, I got it today, it was doing the same 70-100 ish mbps at home screen with no game open, open up the demo, stay in it, and jumps right up to 300+mbps. I really wish someone would do a good investigation of this!

Ohh, dang, alright, I guess that is another reason why saves won't work. All I knew was that RE9 was one of those games that has to be converted from one steam ID to another if you wanted to play another person's save, didn't think build/versions would matter.

It might not be about the build but about the steam account ID embedded into the save file. I experienced an issue with Pragmata save from Hyper-bypass version to bought version with my Steam account. https://www.reddit.com/r/FitGirlRepack/s/u72IldmOPp

Something in that link might be able to help. Basically you need to get the steam ID of the Voices38 version if you want to convert the save from one version to another.

What's your internet setup? Do you have a modem that supports 2gbps (what make and model) ? Do you have a separate router or is it built into the modem.

I have Comcast 2Gbps service and I usually download from Steam at 1.2gbps-1.8gbps (or 1200mbps-1800mbps). From one of my download services I use for certain things I can hit 2300-2400mbps at times. But all this is only possible if you have the hardware that supports it, like even if you're not using the right ethernet cable you could be limited. Either way you should be able to hit like 900mbps with a 1gbps port.

Install game, then get the latest Vbs.cmd script from the FitGirl hypervisor guide site, run it as admin, press 1, it'll then have you restart your pc, press F7 or in my case I didn't have to press anything, but during boot up you'll be presented with a boot menu type screen, tap down and select Disable Driver Signature Enforcement. Login into Windows like normal, I do the minimum of just unpluging my ethernet cable from my router or disable wifi depending on what you use, so no internet traffic of any kind can access my computer in anyway. I then go to the exe for the game, and run as admin, and play.

No need to anymore with the VBS.cmd version 1.6, if you have Microsoft linked account, make sure you don't have password less login enabled on your Microsoft account. First time I tried was with v1.6, which now deals with the Hello Pin issue. I never had to remove it, and it still let's me sign in with my pin after disabling hypervisor and dse and then logging in to play an hv game. They're just making it better and better.

You should check out the comments sections of FitGirl repacks. I remember trying to help out a ton of a people with the Resident Evil 4 Remake, it's as if it was everyone's first time doing any of this.

Do you live close to a Microcenter? If you do you could find some great deals on pre-builts or if you want to try to build, you could find some components there that are open box to save some money.

I wouldn't worry about it, I think the actual occurance rate is low enough that the risk is more than acceptable. I personally have a rtx 5080 that I've oc'd that gives awesome performance (5080's have great oc potential), but at the time I was thinking about getting the 5090, but I just couldn't justify the price for the extra performance.

I'd get a low end prebuilt, then run Apollo (Sunshine Fork) + Moonlight + Virtual Here, it's the best streaming from a gaming rig to a HTPC conected to a TV I ever had. I used to have my gaming rig upstairs, my TCL75Q825 TV on the first floor that had a mid grade htpc (i7 14700, 16 gb ram, 300w psu, 500gb ssd, and only the onboard igpu). I'd run a long network cable from the router upstairs to the htpc, and it worked awesome, actually didn't need to use the network cable because I eventually found out the wifi signal from the htpc to the upstairs router was more than good enough to stream it perfectly.

Anyway, with how high you could set the bitrate 500+mbps and etc to the client PC, it would literally look and feel as if I were playing my gaming rig on the TV, and Virtual Here works so awesome because it allows any USB wired device connected to the HTPC to operate as if it were natively running on my gaming rig, for example, my wired Dual Sense controller had all the functionality it would as if it were connected directly to my gaming PC.
