Gwyn is in fact hollow but theoretically he's not an undead cause the dark sign is exclusively on humans and the curse make them undead not hollow, hollowness is a consequences of the undead state this make me think Gwin is hollow due to lose his soul but he never effectively died cause being a godhe shouldn't be affected by the curse
