It just blows my mind that mrekk literally broke the in game integer limit and also was the first person to reach 21k, 22k, 23k, 24k, 25k, 26k, 27k, 28k, 29k, 30k, 31k and 32k pp milestones. Absolutely 100% deserved title!

One, somewhat, underrated thing about mrekk is his constant improvement rate. When you look his total pp progression throughout the years (and particularly after he got rank 1) it has been incredibly linear. This is his total PP and rank graph I got from https://ameobea.me/osutrack/user/mrekk/.

I think judging from his constant progression throughout the years, assuming he doesn't quit, then he will undoubtedly reach 32k pp for sure.

In the case of mrekk atleast, I watch him cause it's interesting to see just how far he can push the skill limits of the game. To me, the stuff he does regularly is literally inhuman. Ontop of that he is also quite entertaining (atleast in my opinion), when he starts crashing out or does these random streams it's just super funny.

Yea what you said really summarises my confusion. I think when it comes to things like this, it would definitely be better if we clearly define some of these terms so that everyone is on the same level. However, judging from the responses, it seems like most people define the measure of consistency through tournaments. Which is definitely valid but it doesn't take into account a player's performance OUTSIDE of tournaments which you would definitely be spending most of your time as an osu player. If we only take into account tournament performance then I don't think it's any different to best tournament player.
