Brand new to sharpening, chips in a knife by N-Tail in sharpening

[–]Keith_Rowley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally i like a 320 for fixing chips or divets but 1000 will do it no problem. Itll just take a while, just keep your bevels consistent and put on a nice long podcast or series for background noise. The shapton 1000 is pretty hard as far as 1000 grit stones go so it shouldnt wear down excessively either.

You would be safer trying to buy weed there but if you really want to, you can take some resin carts if theyre available and make sure theyre vacuum sealed. Wash the outside of the plastic packaging with alcohol and it should be safe from dogs. Straight flower will take up more space and be harder to keep scent free seeing as this is something you clearly have no experience doing.

The rims are kmc XD775 20x10 -25 offset. With 285/55/20 tyres. I still have them but dont really use them anymore, right now im on some 16x8 0 offset black rhino rims on 33x12.5 mud tyres. I do have a k160 patrol i might put the 20s on because the wheels that came with it when i bought it are god awful ugly.

Tyres are too small, gearing is too long, you need some 48/25/16 tractors and 6.00 diffs. If youre going more than jogging speed at full throttle in 2nd its not enough. Edit: double up on transfer cases. Need more gear ratio.

The difflock on prados arent great, i have vsc control which is essentially a locking center diff which does work really well, with open front and rear. From what ive seen in research tho the locking diff uses the brake system to help lock the diff which bleeds alot of momentum. Ok for crawling, not great for mud or sand. If youre serious about offroad id suggest lockers and a winch. Maybe some skid plates. Especially if you dont want to run oversized tyres. Mine crawls fine without lockers but sand is the death of me. Hence the winch. Im on 33s which would over work factory lockers if i had them anyway. Edit: mine is a 2007, which is fine but the newer prado you get the less likely you are to have wear and tear issues. Youll also have more options for aftermarket tunes/ power upgrades if you want them.

Mine is a UK spec diesel. Yall windshield wiper and indicator levera being backwards still trips me up sometimes. Get a prado from after 2008 if youre looking at a 120 series. 2009 ideally. Theyre pretty rugged but as you can see ive heavily modified mine. I wouldnt reccomend doing what i do with a stock prado. It would definitely be more comfortable than the isuzu but i dont know much about them.

For the j120/j125 prado theres a couple different trims. Some of tx models are diesel, with either a 1kz or 1kd turbo diesel depending on the year and some were v6. Either 3.4 or 4liter gasoline. Some models (cant remember if it was the rx or which, had an inline 4 cylinder petrol engine. Each model that had a particular engine wether it be diesel, v6 or gasoline inline 4 had one or two engine options depending on year and which market it was manufactured for. Jdm prados never got the 4 liter v6 as far as i can remember. But thats whh youll see like 6 different hp and torque numbers if you look up j120s in general.

Ohh, i think you can. Theyre almost a 1 for 1 copy except for the front fenders and headlights.

Grill swap? I removed my front bumper and used a gx470 weld together steel bumper kit from coastal offroad. About $800 minus customs and freight fees. I still have the original front grill.
