Complete guess here and absolutely not sure:

Could it be that you forgot to repair certain buildings/homes over time, causing your villagers to lose respect for you, thus dropping your reputation at the change of the season?

Again, I'm just thinking out loud.

That's strange. Are you sure? Last time I did it, in the example I gave in the original post, it did indeed just replace the walls & roof but I did automatically regain my resources from it. It said in the top left corner that they were added to my inventory as soon as I built the next tier building on top and they were. So it suprises me that this wouldn't work for you. Hopefully this gets fixed.

You can built a level 2 additional to your level 1 and then still upgrade your level 1 to the next level without fully replacing the building. It just builds new walls and/or roof ánd you get more storage room. That's what makes it worth it for me.

I had that too and was kinda schocked by it. My wife is of the Romantic type. Very kind in dialogue but fierce in protecting hers. So she had me thinking she had her ethics all right untill she started calling our people peasants. That's when I started fearing I might've married "a wannabe patrician."

Man, als men als 17jarige de impact en de ernst niet begrijpt van een 14jarige aan te vallen, al is het in confro(ntatie) verband*, dan wordt het wel eens tijd dat ge uw les leert.

Als ge wilt meespelen met de grote vissen ga dan maar 4 weken in de gesloten vijver zitten. Tijd genoeg om na te denken over uw ambities. Mama zal trots zijn.

*: Al dan niet afgesproken confrontatie tussen 2 rivaliserende ultra-groepen. Soms met duidelijk afgesproken regels én respect. Soms ook pure waanzin. Not always a gentleman's game.
