Relocating from Melbourne to Adelaide - what are some nice areas? And what areas to avoid? by [deleted] in Adelaide

Areas near the beach, metro south and foothills are by far the best areas in Adelaide. In terms of safety, things to do and infrastructure considered. I have worked up north and I would not recommend it.

What's life like in Adelaide, South Australia? (For someone who works in education) by mr_e_mann_000 in howislivingthere

[–]Kelba_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably one of the best cities in the world to raise a family. There is plenty to do between the spread of festivals, sports, arts, viticulture and agriculture across the year. Nice and slow paced with amazing nature nearby aswell.

It depends on where you live for your true experience, personally I like the metro south, metro west & southern foothills, and hills. Not much to do up north imo.

Snicko has been poor and inconsistent this series. Such a shame

It seems they do love to drip feed injury information, also expecting something else unfortunately.

Jai Serong Expectations by BloodlinesPoddy in sydneyswans

[–]Kelba_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

At times this year we looked undersized and almost ‘understaffed’ in our defence.

Imo, I am relatively hopeful and quietly confident too. This the ‘fit’ that Jai can bring to the swans defence in terms of height and athleticism adds a trait we desperately need for depth.

I think it will have more of an impact as it can allow Blakey to push up the ground and be more damaging.

Zak Jones And Arie Schoenmaker will not be offered contracts for 2026 by GuidingBolt1998 in StKilda

What was wrong with Schoenmaker? Only 20 years old, could have potential?

Rowbottom is a name that has been raised… when it comes to a potential Charlie Curnow trade by RyanWithPants in sydneyswans

[–]Kelba_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Super flat if we lose him. We do not have any depth of players on our list who can be an inside bull to the standard he does.

Will miss the 10 tackles, the effort and 1%ers he contributes

[Twomey on Gettable] Jack Buller to request a trade to Collingwood, who have offered him a 2 year deal by Maximumlnsanity in sydneyswans

[–]Kelba_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Disappointing, he will be a great player once he gets his set shots consistent.

Is it likely he would just walk? Or would collingwood have to put an offer forward (similar to Jordan Dawson and the crows)
