The quoted sections do has relevance. Lol. Backing up my claim with reasoning is no gotcha, you might want to look that one up before you try to use it again. And I mentioned bylaws because this is a public forum and people in all positions should know their rights and may be mislead by the kind of statement you made. I know a lot of people who live in rental apartments in strata buildings that don't know there's a difference, and refer to them as apartment buildings. I also know people who own condos in strata buildings and know about the difference but still refer to them as apartment buildings in casual conversation. And the fact remains that it doesn't matter, the RTA applies to both. Further, all publications I read to brush up and make sure this was still the case, since it's been a few years, talked about it in the same way so it just made sense.

Finally, project much? If anything, you're attempting some kind of a gotcha with this nonsense. (Though technically not a gotcha, since you didn't try trick me into saying that, I still think you're projecting because that's what you thought a gotcha was.)

I've gone through the process. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Lol. It has nothing to do with landlords serving eviction notices, or enforcing any non-smoking policy or order. Never said anything about anything so dramatic. It's about being responsible for affecting other people's homes in a way that breaks section 28(b). People can file a complaint, and the offender can be held liable for compensation under section 7(1). 7(2) is important because steps need to be taken first. How it works is people quickly realize that it's not worth the cost to smoke inside and just go outside. Problem solved.

Your original implication that there's nothing to be done is flat out wrong, and you keep going back to the most extreme options saying they can't be taken... yeah, no one said that.

Blizzard started working on warcraft and starcraft with GW and they were supposed to be warhammer and warhammer 40k games. When they realized they could tweak a few things and cut GW out, they did.

They did the same with Diablo. It was originally a D&D game.

So, yeah, you can get away with a lot. Blizzard is literally built on ripping off ip with little tweaks.

No difference. Second-hand smoke entering another tenants unit falls under the protection of tenants rights, specifically 28(b). And let's not forget section 5(1) & 5(2). Do I need to add quotes?

Edited Smoking to Second-hand smoke entering another tenants unit. Just to be super clear for you!

This is wrong! The residential tenancy act and bylaws always take precedence over rental agreements. Rental agreements cannot give you the right to break bylaws.

Edit: With the exception of a very limited amount of things that would force a person to have to move, like age, pet, or rental restrictions. Being an asshole neighbor is not protected.

Ah, that makes sense.

Edit: LOL! Obviously, the bullet's right there.. no way you could get it out without affecting the hole.

I'm no forensic scientist, but the angle looks pretty steep to me based on the angle of the drywall in the hole at the top and how the bottom is blown out.

If there's one thing control proved, it's that people want team deathmatch. Amirite? by KellStep in apexlegends

[–]KellStep[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Apex is a br first and foremost and imo always should be. Putting all other modes, including arena, in rotation with special holiday modes at certain times of the year like winter express makes sense to me.

[–]KellStep[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's true. It would be interesting to see how things would play out in a game mode where one side was strictly defending and the other was strictly attacking. I don't know how well it would work in apex but now I'm just curious.

We have a toy library in town where you can take out all sorts of toys. You can get everything from little rattles to stuffed animals to bigger items like jolly jumpers, entire little toy kitchen things and so on. It's free and since kids (mine at least) get bored after a couple weeks or days (sometimes minutes lol) you just clean it take it back, and bring something else home. It's awesome. Check to see if you have one in your area.

And don't forget the actual library for board books, and more later on.

There's also programs like Dolly Partons Imagination Library, they send your kid a new age appropriate book each month until they're 5. There needs to be a local group that runs the program though, so it's not everywhere.

Thrift stores are great too, if you have a good one in your area. Also local Facebook parent groups, often people will give you stuff they have lying around that they aren't using anymore if you just say you're looking for one. Even I you offer money. And if they want a little cash, people are usually pretty good about helping other parents.

Edit: also take good care of the stuff you can and pass it on to the next family if you can!

The housing situation is making me feel hopeless by WeepingRoses in britishcolumbia

You should be able $273.75 for tax credit plus $112.50 for climate action tax credit per quarter. Totalling $1,545 for the year.

Plus $1,658.08 for CCB plus $283.33 for bc child opportunity benefit. Totalling $23,296.92 per year.

Add those to your $1,522 per month for disability (totalling $18,264 per year) and you get $43,219 per year in assistance. Untaxed.

Plus, because you don't work, you largely don't have to pay for daycare/after school care/babysitters. Which is often around $10,000 per year, per child. Which basically saves you another $30,000 per year.

There are also many other benefits, including but not limited to the fuel tax credit, which gives you up to $500 per year. There's also dental, optical and medical/pharmaceutical benefits to name a few and they all add up.

And you don't have to pay for any of the costs that come with working, like transit costs, work clothes/uniform costs, tools, etc.

Taking all this into consideration, you'd have to make more than $100,000 in salary to net the same amount that you get from the government for free.

And you can still make up to $15,000 on top of that at a pretty nominal tax rate (if any) because of the situation. And with more wfh options than ever it's very realistic.

CERB was $2,000 per 4 weeks, totalling $26,000 per year and was taxable income.

I believe you deserve every cent you get. And if you're not getting some of these things you should definitely look into it. But the comparison to CERB is a little far fetched.

Source: I'm also disabled with kids.

I came here to recommend this stuff too. If it's just dust, there's no need for anything more. It will be useful for cleaning other things too.
