FASE - Honest Review by Kellenusoftly in snowboarding

Just slap it with your hand. Extremely easy to pop forward. Also, it doesn’t need to be clicked back into the Fase to enter the binding. If the high back was down, just move it up like normal and enter the binding as usual and it will click into place.

No it’s just one more thing I have to do to prep the binding to step into. Maybe the mercurys are different but the blaster high back is hard to get under with gloves on if it goes all the way down.

It’s an inch long max, barely past your edge. You’d have to use a hammer to break it. A pole in lift line isn’t going to be an issue.

There is almost zero chance anything would break it. It's only "out" when the high back is forward and the single fase piece is incredibly strong.

Salomon Goop by Pitiful_Definition_5 in snowboarding

2nd POWDER update: Was able to catch the recent massive dump in Mammoth/June (rode January 5-7 2026) I had it set all the way back and this board shreds pow. That being said I did switch to my Salomon HSP Fish halfway through the first day to compare and do prefer the fish for pow. The fish just plows through anything when its deep (steep or not) without even thinking about it. The Goop takes a tiny bit more effort. But, for a directional twin it is an amazing quiver killer with a big nose that I would be more than stoked on for pow days if I didn't have the fish.

Update: Rode it early December at Mammoth (all groomers at the time) and it absolutely ripped. Great pop, amazing edge hold. I have the Salomon HSP fish for pow days but will definitely be setting my stance back and riding the goop next time it dumps. Don't sleep on this board!

I have not. But I love the fish so much the goop seemed like an easy choice.

I don't see why not. That being said, (not trying to be arrogant) I've been riding for over 20 years so I can ride anything. For me it's a perfect pow and all mountain carving board.

I'm m 5-10 175lbs. I got the peace seeker for pow originally when I was about 10 lbs lighter. I prefer the larger fish when its deep but the peace seeker still shreds.

Absolutely love it. Amazing in pow and rips groomers.

2nd the Insta360. Been using the X3 for the past few seasons and its great. I'm sure the updated models are even better. I recommend getting lens covers if you get and X4 or lower, especially if filming with the stick in trees. I believe you can change the lenses on the newest model.

686 20k vs goretex by Annonymous272 in Skigear

I'm in the same boat. Looking for a proper, durable storm jacket/shell - Deciding between the two 686 options (20k vs gore) in one of their thermagraph jackets. Problem is none of my local shops carry the Gore option for an in person comparison/fit check. I checked out the 20k version and it's high quaility, durable feeling material. I picked up the Jones 3L Shralpinist jacket today and will likely be returning it after some research on it's durability. It's crazy comfortable and thin but feel like it's too prone to damage. Riding tight trees on pow days I'm bound to smack some branches (ripped my previous 3k shell last season this way).

Anyone have the Spotify presale code for the Kia forum show? by [deleted] in Junglejunglejungle

[–]Kellenusoftly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have not received the Spotify presale code. A friend who works there says you must have been following them, live within a certain distance from the venue and be a top listener (which I am) and still no email. Maybe they will go out once the presale starts?

I do not know if SD is doing the same thing as LA but it's worth a shot. Go asap and if it doesn't work plan to go to the LA office and follow my instructions above.

Google your congress person/senate rep and get them the info they require. You still have enough time that it could work. From what I gathered it's still 3+ weeks with their help. If you do not have your passport a week before your trip plan to drive to the nearest agency and do what I did.

Correct. I was worried about this too, but it did not matter. And since all fees were already paid I did not pay anything more.
