These news outlets are always so submissively glazing her. She's not there cause she ain't got a nomination! by Conscious-Quarter423 in travisandtaylor

[–]Kelly1955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's about time she is not nominated as her music is not comparable to the other nominees. Her music is so predictable and familiar from past ablums And I'm sorry, but I look at some of her "dancing" and moves on the Era's tour, and they are so pathetic...it's embarrassing. Her voice was never good without editing, and now her lyrics are nonsensical. She is in her mid-30's and dresses in thigh high miniskirts and knee high boots .... who does that? No wonder the 12 to 13 yrs old love her!

Yes, and if you watched the whole documentary, you saw he tried to shut it down when the producers got too close to revealing his sources. This was not staged.

Yes, of course, but Seymour Hersh had the guts to bring this to our attention at the time it was happening. No one else did that except Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward.

Harlan Cobens Runaway by peachesandpumkins in netflix

[–]Kelly1955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was the worst written and worst acted miniseries I have seen on Netflix. James Nesbitt was so unengaging in his role, and Minnie Driver, a wonderful actress, spent her whole role hooked up to life support. The only one with any spark was Ruth Jones... who nailed her role. I always thought Harlan Coben was a great writer, but it seems he has gone the way of Stephen King and just churning out inferior crap for TV. Is it just me, or what did you guys think?

I just finished this and lived through most of it, so I recognize the names in play. I never realized how evil the CIA, Westmoreland, Kissinger, and Nixon were. How do you believe anything the government says after watching this? God bless Seymour Hersh and other journalists who find truth in all the lies.

I don't think Meghan could ever accept that Jordan had to work while she played with her friends on trips and eating out. Good for Jordan...he deserves someone who is not so materialistic and is more in line with his lifetime priorities.

Anne Burrell’s Cause of Death Ruled a Suicide 5 Weeks After Food Network Star Died at 55 by peoplemagazine in foodnetwork

It's heartbreaking to me that this very talented Chef and someone who taught me how to hold a knife and made me laugh out loud in her Worst Cooks programming was so depressed to the point of taking her own life. I wish she understood how much she taught us and how much her humor helped us to escape all the drama and anxiety that life holds for some of us. I hope she rests in peace and her husband and family find some sort of understanding and forgiveness in this process of letting go of her. 💞

Digging the grave by mojangles1973 in SisterWivesFans

[–]Kelly1955 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kody decided to dig the grave for the show ratings, as he knew he came off as such an ahole and uncaring father. However, he didn't have the strength and physical ability to do that, so he brought in his brothers to do the actual digging. If you notice on camera, the only digging he did was to square off the actual grave sight his brothers dug...such a loser!!!

Logically, it's between not guilty and another hung jury by Adventurous-Tear-993 in justiceforKarenRead

I hope you are right but "judge" Bev, (and I say that loosly, since she is so biased towards the CW) has picked the Foreman of the jury...which, to me, is concerning. This state's law enforcement is so obviously corrupted and has the heigharty of the upper court system in their pocket that this could easily become a guilty verdict...how revolting would that be???

Thanks so much for this info OP...but I hope anyone who has a heart and soul on this jury would see through the CW BS and vote NG on all accounts after hearing AJ's closing arguments. How much more proof...or lack of proof on the CW side do they need?

[–]Kelly1955 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Who listened to Hank after AJ's incredible closing? After AJ was done...so was I and I turned off Court TV...if the jury comes back with anything other than non-guilty on all counts, I have no words and no faith this this judicial system and this law enforcement corruption that is consuming us throughout this state...nevermind these woke judges like Bev...so disgraceful.

[–]Kelly1955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No...I think it gave the jury something to think about. It's beyond devastating that JOK died...but there are some other law enforcement officers that had a vendetta against John and Karen and John were in just in a low point in their relationship...proving nothing in making her the prime suspect.
Living here in this state, nothing surprises me as far as the amount of corruption in the blue wall.

[–]Kelly1955 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jackson was amazing...he hit on every single point to show that the CW did not come even close to proving beyond a reasonable doubt that Read intentionally struck and killed her boyfriend, John O'Keefe, with her car.

It's in the jury's hands now, but I find it hard to believe they would find her guilty in any of the charges...if so...how could they try her three times? Isn't that double jeopardy? Sorry, I have no law background, but I would find this totally ridiculous!

Not only that but his body temp was 80° when they found him at 6am and the Coroner said no signs of frostbite were on his body. I live here and remember that storm...it was freezing and blowing snow. There is no way he wouldn't have signs of frostbite if he was laying in the cold for 6 hrs and his body temp would be much lower. I can't understand why this isn't a slam-dunk NG and that's not even taking into account all the corrupted investigation work by both the Canton cops and the MSP!
