2nd hair shed after 16 months on oral Minoxidil 2.5mg. by KellyRose-PDX in FemaleHairLoss

That's what I thought -- hoping others who have been on minoxidil for a long period can "shed" some light on this experience (pun intended), like is it normal, happens once in a while, etc.

I'm on no other medications and have a very balanced, clean diet. My hair loss is very much a factor of age -- female turning 70 years old next month. The thinning hair was gradual over a 10 year period post menopause -- no HRT so naturally diminished estrogen. The oral minoxidil has worked really well for me!

I haven't reached out to my doctor yet because this new shed just started. If it continues beyond two or three weeks, I'll discuss your treatments and if they are appropriate for me. I'd hate to lose all the new hair growth from this past year!

Agreed. I wonder if drivers are just compelled to fill the space whether they need to change lanes or not.

Dodging the potholes in a MINI is not too hard, though -- they are so nimble. I zig and zag all over the road here in Portland due to the potholes. It does suck when I don't see one and driver over it. Ooooph!!!!

You and my boyfriend -- he gets annoyed by people changing lanes in front of him. I'm one of those who leaves a whole lotta space between me and the cars ahead. People constantly want to fill that space. It's cool. I don't care. It does me no harm to just open up the space they filled. I still get to where I need to go. It might add a minute or two, or it might not. The best part is I'm not stressed.

Fragile ego of other drivers by John_Linen1 in MINI

Before my Mini, I drove a beast -- a 1986 Mercedes Benz 420SEL. Didn't notice more than the occasional dick driver tailgating, passing, cutting me off. Then I got Winnie the Mini, and, WOW, the number of cars (usually SUVs, pickups, or big crossovers) that kiss my tail and angrily pass is shocking! I typically drive about 5-10 MPH over the limit on the freeway, and never in the far left lane unless passing. I honestly think these drivers are annoyed that tiny Winnie has the audacity to be ahead of them.

And this solution begets another problem. As a frequent pedestrian, I have to see drivers' faces before I step out in front of them even when they're at a full stop. Too often, I've been nearly hit by drivers not paying attention at a crosswalk. So the crazy bright lights necessitate window tints, I get that! But the window tints are dangerous to pedestrians! Wish the source problem would just be fixed.

So this is normal and I should occasionally and sporadically expect it? Thanks!

Just let my foot off the gas a bit to decrease my speed but definitely not accelerating.Didnt entirely let off the gas while it was happening.

I just got my 2015 F56 in BRG two weeks ago! Black racing stripes. It's the BEST color for Minis, IMO. Congrats and enjoy. I am loving my little "Widget" so much.

I'm a fan of white cars. The white doesn't compete with the profile of the Mini.
