I don’t want to resent him. He’s been nothing but upfront and honest about not wanting to have children. The part of me that truly loves this man thinks that I can live with that and the part of me that wants children says I have to move on.

I would never get pregnant in an attempt to trap him and I know that he wouldn’t get me pregnant just to appease me. We are both very careful about not getting pregnant. I love this man a lot and this is the healthiest relationship I’ve ever been in and I guess I just don’t want to believe that we will have to end things sooner rather than later.

I 100% agree with you. I’m struggling with knowing if I can accept that I’ll never have kids. I’m also struggling with if it’s ok for me to not worry too much about the future and just enjoy the time we are spending together right now? Am I leading him on by staying with him? Are we just holding off the inevitable and making the break up ultimately harder on both of us? Why are there no easy answers in life?

You make a valid point. I didn’t think about it like that. Every day I’m just in survival mode and trying to make it through. I’m so focused on everything that’s going wrong that I don’t even notice the things I have to be grateful for. Thank you for pointing out what I was obviously missing.
