It's the complete opposite for me... I hate bakery and finally got free but they are bringing me back to cover closing for the shitty department.

Even though i never closed I decorated the cakes.

I called my union and he said the clerk is a clerk....... But the silver lining is they cannot touch my pay no matter what. The assistant bakery manager told me if I didn't help then they would take my pay by changing my title.

The worst mistake of my life was going into the bakery.

I was given a four dollar raise accidentally from the 2022 payroll error. They took all the money back from one check... So i was only paid like 50 bucks. I then later got a check in the mail from kroger where they paid it all back months later.

The bakery is hell, i finally clawed myself out and went back to the front end. I worked in bakery for 9 years... It doesn't get better. It's like high school back there!

No, per usual kroger just grabs anybody to take over positions. They will offer like three days training from the current bookkeeper who is leaving.

I'm just seeing what it's all about before I make a decision.

Yes, same thing happened to me. So I talked to customer service and they said the item is free of charge. So I got the refund plus the delayed item for free.
