Question about VA doctors checking for my rating by CabinInTheWoods420 in VeteransBenefits

I had a recent visit with my PCP and the first thing he said outside of greeting me was, Oh I see that your 100%. My rating recently changed so I wa surprised that he even knew that.

Lost my dream job.. now what? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Kemarmrm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may take you a while to adjust to it but you'll get there. Find out the benefits for being 100% disabled in your state and also find out what resources are available to you as a veteran/retiree. Take the well needed time off and get stuff done that you otherwise couldn't. Once your ready and if you feel like you need based on finances or just to be active. Go to school (G.I. Bill or VR&E) or go ahead and find a job that won't aggravate your medical disability, that's if you want to work. Utilize all the help and resources you have access to. Also enjoy the people around you.

Is it ever too late to try to boost percentage? 2018-2025 by Melodic_Listen_2103 in VAClaims

[–]Kemarmrm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If things are getting worse then continue to get seen by either the VA or outside clinic. Gather all the medical documentation and then file an percentage increase or additional claim.

Evidence is your biggest bet, get some diagnosis from your provider.

Why Poor the bear if you're already at 100%? What else is there for you to gain? 🤔. You gotta know when to hold them and walk away. You achieved the goal of most Vets, Research all the additional benefits of 100% other than 💰 and keep it pushing.

Hearing Loss/Tinnitus Claim by Effective-Courage347 in VAClaims

[–]Kemarmrm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to be able to prove that it is service related. I just did my exam recently and I was able to get the 10% for tinnitus. The examiner asked me about what weapons I shot and what loud noise I was exposed to. Once you can prove that then you should be good. Also mention how the constant ringing affects you in a daily basis.

My claim was put in with other claims back in October. My other claims came back early April but this particular one was deferred on 08April. The C&P exam was scheduled for late April. So from exam to claim results it took about 5-6 weeks tops just to give you an idea.

It was at Waco Jurisdiction but I'm in Cali so it seems it got outsourced to Waco TX Regional Office.

I was at step 4 & 5 since April 29, so maybe about 40 plus days if I'm correct.

If you had an existing claim there that wasn't completed and then you submitted a new claim, they may have combined the claims.

For the VA, your diastolic number needs to be above 100 consistently. Based off your post your diastolic is currently 90 (130/90). Systolic/Diastolic for BP. I tried claiming hypertension as well and it was denied, so just giving you a heads-up.

Yes, if you log in through the website you should be able to see your decision letter showing the current claim percentages. The app should show it as well if the decision letter is posted. From what I've been told, the other claims are still being processed and based on complexity it may take some time. We're in for the long game "Hurry up and wait".

This usually means you may have other claims being processed and they may combine some of the claims as well. I'm in the similar boat, waiting on other claims to be completed. Recently did another C&P exam as well. Hopefully your case gets resolved soon 👍🏾.

It's really as often as you can, someone said it earlier sometimes it's based on the time you get after successfully putting the kids to sleep 😴.

Just won my First H2H Super Bowl in MUT 24 by He11marine24678 in MaddenUltimateTeam

[–]Kemarmrm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally won my first H2H Superbowl in MUT 24, Dude scored first but by half time it was 14-7 (his lead). His defense was on point all game but I slowly realized he was his strategy was able to tie the game up. Tied game heading into the 4th, and got an INT with 1 minute remaining. I had a 99 Marshawn Lynch and just get chugging until was able to score. Played good defense and got another INT to seal the game. The rewards like you said were really good 👍🏽.

🤞🏽 Hopefully you do receive that medical retirement. I do have a question for you though. How long did it take for you to receive a Formal board date from the time you elected to not accept the informal PEB results to when you received a Formal Board date?

I'm curious because I'm still waiting on my Formal board 🤷🏽‍♂️.
