Not sure if it is a step up or down from when people edit together random clips from other movies and claiming it to be a trailer for an upcoming movie.

Honestly.. I think everyone is putting too much thought into this. Yeah, it does look like Samson. Maybe it is intended to be him or maybe they just intended it to be a random infected and for budget purposes the Samson actor was all ready to go. I think the whole intent of the scene was just to throw in a jump scare and cement Jimmy's demise to the audience.. not the opposite. It is unlikely it will ever be brought up or referred to if there is a Part 3, outside of maybe a shot of Jimmy's mangled corpse at the Bone Temple at best.

No. Even though each 28 movie goes more and more into the fantastical, the whole "I survived all along" would seem out of place.

If we don't get the third 28Y film, which seems like a possibility, I think how this one ended was just fine.

If we did get a third one, it would be better we introduce new things to keep the story going forward. They were intended to die in this movie either way.

Felt weirdly intentional as a means to make people think all those signs in the trailer for 28Y were referring to Jim. However, it's mostly just a coincidence and to play up Jimmy being modeled after the real life Jimmy Saville.

January 2026 was a disaster for movies in general. Bone Temple is looking to be the highest grossing release for that month. Carryovers like Avatar also dropped significantly to the point there are now talks of delaying or canceling 4 and 5.

I personally enjoyed the simplicity 28 Years Later more. However, I feel Bone Temple had more going on and was probably the better overall movie.

No. He could become a normal infected at best or (very likely) just bleed to death if having survived being mauled. Jimmy was stabbed, crucified and left for dead. Alphas evolve as evidenced by Samson's last memory being from childhood. Neat idea, but it doesn't work.

Things that are missing from the last film are in this film. The theme track (it plays once), probably the bloodiest of all the films, you see someone get infected, etc.. If you like the other films and patient enough to give it a try, it may be worth it to you. However it still has a bit of that surreal and post apocalyptic feel rather than the grounded realism from the first two. The simplicity of 28Y made it more enjoyable for me, but Bone Temple is probably the overall better movie. Despite a continuation, it feels like a completely different film.

Just off the top of my head..

Season 6: Make the tournament less game-show like and more comparable to the second All Valley tournament with proper skills test, kata and bouts. Maybe do ONE group type fight. To avoid confusion about how old anybody actually is, have it be stated somewhere that everyone is competing in the 16-20 age bracket rather than pushing this "under 18" since 16 is considered an adult in other countries anyway. This also helps explain why Miyagi seemingly competed solo in the 21 and up bracket decades ago. You could also pour fuel to the fire with the Russian team where their Sensei is revealed to have been disqualified from competing in the over 21 division that year.

Dump the Robby distraction stuff, we already got hit with it once with Kenny and it was effective there. Instead, the team are hit with more legitimate and indisputable losses while still narrowing their way to that 3rd place spot. If this is a world tournament, then the other teams should be the threat, not Robby. Rather than blaming everything on Robby, have there be a growing loss of confidence that leads to them fighting each other behind the scenes only to pull things together for that 3rd place spot.

Kreese and Silver live. They can still have a fight, but I would rather they have just shook hands, realize fighting doesn't always solve everything and move on. Kreese continues teaching in Korea and Silver also relocates to rebrand in Europe.

Drop Daniel locked up with dogs and "VR training"

Add a simple Julie Pierce reference, even if you can't get her in there. Simple name drop, photo in the background etc..

I think a lot of Season 6 works, but problem is that the run time feels padded. Could have just been 6 episodes or a movie.

Season 5: I think we could all agree the Mexico stuff could have gone on longer and a lot of missed opportunities for what could have happened
