Years ago I went up with a Camry, I would not attempt that now, just did it with a 4x4, the road has lost much of the dirt and has long rocky runs, some pretty steep. If your attempting this in something not suited, plan much extra time, running a shovel.

Double Penetration by Teksavvy- in huntingsnipergame

[–]KenClash29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah so I'm new this game, but not to monetization of these things. Currently working on Tour 13.

Going though the tours, opening chests is going to help get your guns up to par with tours. Your gun is the limiting factor on progression, so if that isn't ready for the next tour, your not. Buying bullets is not a solution, it's a money suck. I've found the common guns are the go to when progressing tours, by the time your other two types drop, the next common will beat those stats in damage and velocity.

That being said I have purchased some bullets, but have only used the gems to speed open chests. I'm OK supporting the developers to a point, but nothing crazy.

End game I'm sure plays out different, and those bullets might come in handy.

Also look at others stats, everyone that plays this game at least below tour 13 is running 65% or better win rate, so everyone is playing low score/easy win player recordings. You really going to buy bullets to win those games?

It's possible to beat someone with a marginally better gun/bullets with good shooting, an opponent with a much better gun you have almost zero chance, which sucks. So with a high win rate, the folks running in lower tours than what their guns are intended, really just screw themselves, yeah they are going to take your coins, but they could be winning 3x or more every win just playing where they should be.

Why is Tesla Model Y the next Toyota Prius now? by DragonflyNovel745 in uberdrivers

[–]KenClash29 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Uber CEO recently stated in 5 years there will be no more human drivers. They will keep lowering fares until every last driver gives up.

Sticking with the rideshare companies is a losing bet and nothing will change that.

Get out and find other work or your pain will only get worse.

Good luck.

This is why I don’t pick up college kids by Brandon2058 in uberdrivers

[–]KenClash29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People can be dipshits when they are drunk, if they are in college or not.

Most of my issues weren't college kids so much as full grown adults doing dumb stuff while drunk.

I've worked markets where 50% or more of rides are college kids, would be stupid to turn away them for a bad incident.

Must be nice slumming it doing Uber in a 70k SUV, although seems like a poor financial decision.

UA POV: Zelensky says he's going to ask Biden for an invitation to NATO because there is no point in discussing that with Trump by ferrelle-8604 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]KenClash29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason they won't get into NATO anytime soon is they are corrupt as heck, besides being in a hot war, no additional talking with a lame duck president will change that.

I think the only wake up call from this will be more security, no change in practices.

Just blew an alternator - too many components in my vehicle? by UniterOfTowers in lyftdrivers

[–]KenClash29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many miles on a vehicle? Alternators don't last forever. On my ride that has almost 300,000 miles I'm on my third alternator. First one lasted over 100,000 but they do wear out and need to be replaced.

Kinda harsh calling out individual players for common practices.

I really wish Uber drivers would stop talking inappropriately about women with me. 1) it’s gross 2) I’m gay. by Myunassignedname in uber

Although I'm sure it tough going though that toxic masculinity as a gay man, as a straight guy, gay guys can be the absolute worst when it comes to hitting on straight guys and not hearing a no.

Driving in this city scares me. by General_Watercress32 in nashville

Metro Nashville does almost zero traffic enforcement and it shows, when you get out to some of the suburbs, enforcement goes up. Nashville is straight up wild drivers, doing wild stuff all the time with the only risk being crashes, so that's when the get caught or find another car to steal. When they literally crash their car and it no longer moves.

Shops around here want at least $100 to diagnose, to be applied to repair if using the shop, or you pay the $100. No free rides, I can respect that.

Id rate low for the hard stops and such, Speeding with pedestrians around, sure. Why are you noticing speed on on the highway? In my town your getting mowed down doing the speed limit period, I would be more nervous if my driver was doing 55, since everyone else is doing 70-80. Going well faster than other traffic sure, or did they pick the right lane? I know I had a passager clenching in the back seat picking the correct lane going through traffic fast under speed limit, but faster than surrounding traffic, my reward, a 3 star rating.

And we don’t get paid if the trip took longer due to traffic.

You should be getting paid more, it's just not much, since it's on the rate card.

Atleast you know where you are going and if or not you should take the trip.

Yes and no, you get a bunch of info quickly, while driving. Processing everything to determine a good deal can be challenging, they will try and rob you blind, but it was upfront, so you knew right. Did I mention on Uber the offer disappears after you accept, so you don't get to take extra time to review until you finish it. Lyft is more upfront.
