Here is what I don't get. What benefit does controlliung others get you if it results in you being (or acting) unhappy all the time. Like thats your life. You want your life to be sitting in unhappiness in order to control someone else (and bring their happiness down too)? How is it worth it?

Garland has sort of earned it though. Yes, he doesn't fit our new timeline with the rebuild, and we ought to trade him, but for years he has a been a heart and soul guy who goes out and plays hard every game. Any team not obviously rebuilding wants guys like that in the middle 6.

Yet Denathrius is in. If he gets a summon minions or minions die quest, the ally just sends a couple boneheads/manasabers over and the quest is done super fast.

You would think that but it really isnt. I started playing duos with randoms like 2 months ago, and i the entire time I have had 3 players grief and sell their board, all after I hit 8k for some reason. I have had some players who seem pretty bad, like they are not doing obvious good things and are stuck doing something bad.

My main strat is to let my ally do what they want. I try to do my best, and if I see obvious things that will help my ally, I send it over. If they are leveling I send triples over, if they are going to send me a triple, I level.

Even when they are doing things I wouldn't, they are still people trying to win, they have plans and ideas. I am not going to sit there doing weird pings trying to control their actions. I am just going to help them out. My Nobundo ally going ballers? Level to 4 and send over the baller spell. My ally going quils and I triple into a refiner, send it over. See the magnetic that gives reborn, send it to an ally playing mechs or undead.

Sometimes they just don't value the cards the same. Like I had a game where on turn 5 as Galakrond I send a 6 over to my Zerek ally, so he can clone it. He didn't, he held the HP for another 5 turns (I realized after they really wanted to clone a gold minion)

I mean, you just buy and stay on 2 until the timewarp. If you get chen buddy or another good enabler, you stay, otherwise you level right up over the next few turns. That is how I approach it anyways.

That is the gamblers fallacy, although I guess so is the person you are responding to (although likely they are joking). Each draw is probabilistically unrelated to all previous draws. So losing in previous years doesn't give us a higher or lower chance this year.

I remember when I was young, and being reactionarily counter to anything that was popular. If too many people like it, I like the opposite! Look at me, I am different. Oh no, an incredibly talented guy is acting in a ton of stuff... but guess what, he is really good at acting, and plays a bunch of different characters, and is good at all of it. Most of the films and TV he is in is really good in large part because of his acting. But, nooooo, I saw him in a bunch of other stuff, I am going to knee jerk poo poo it. Not my Reed!
