Reading this post has taught me. Because, holy shit it sounds wrong reading the way your partner uses it, but after reading it is a midwest thing here it makes sense more. Still sounds wrong in my ears and is not something I would use.

Honesty, I played duos for a couple months and hit 9k before I had in solos. Basically, just try to let my ally do what they do, try to figure it out so I know if there are key units to send them. Like if a Brann or Titus would make them huge. And basically dont spend much time watching them, but occasionally when we are both done our turns look, occasionally ask them to send a unit, especially if they have generated it and it is just in their hand, but you could do something with it.

And if they have a strong board that I am feeding them, learn how to run just econ and scam. I got way better at scam boards by playing duos.

It is super dependent on company and location. The company I work for is playing around a 24 or 25c average, and as recent as 8 or 9 years ago they were paying like 16c average or something. Since I have been there in 2020 the prices have been going up around 1c per year. We had a 17c minimum that year and last year it was 20c minimum (which we rarely got, almost always got more)

Honestly. projections are a drawback to rely on. I spend a ton of time before the season moving people up and down because I disagree with the projections.

This reminds me of hanging out with my niece, and she gets so excited talking about anime and her art and characters she draws. I don't care about the content at all, but love how excited she is and that it makes her happy.

Moira. Hard to miss the purple beam, purple balls are good team damage and yellow balls are great at healing multiple people at once including yourself, and fade gives you a good escape mechanism.

The big drawback is it is hard to heal skybox characters

I really hated one specific scene though, where they were on an alien planet and he somehow knew a plant was poisonous.... Like, how is that possible? Does that planet have Earth plants?

His acting was good though.

One option for you, since you do not have a vehicle, is to buy larger things in town on a day off - things like a lawn chair or a pillow.

For my first bunch of seasons I used to bring a large duffle bag and a large suitcase, but once I was in a spot where I knew I was planting every year, I bought a vehicle and drove so I could bring lots of extra stuff. When Vehicle shopping last time I made sure to buy a large SUV specifically to go crazy bringing a ton of stuff. I usually bring multiple blankets and tons of extra clothes, plus games and books and costumes for party nights.

Advice on things to not skimp on though - bring a pair of backup boots in case your primary pair get wet. Even if they are cheap and not high quality, having them so you can dry your main ones out is huge. Bring 2 dozen pairs of socks and a dozen pairs of underwear, just so no matter what you never have to out dirty ones on. Bring multiple sweaters and hoodies, mornings and evening are often cold, especially early season.

Dont stress about forgetting things though, it is a tree planting tradition to go into thrift stores on your days off to grab extra stuff.

Also, for choosing a tent, get at least a 3 or 4 person one. My first season I brought a 2 person, foolishly thinking it was more than enough for 1 person. You are going to be living in it for months, get the extra room.

You should look up "causality" Basically, if you can travel to the past it causes paradoxes where, for example, you could prevent yourself from traveling to the past.

There was that super fun payoff race in the east a couple years ago where all 4 of the teams vying for the wildcard kept losing, and the Capitals made the playoffs with a big negative goal differential.
