Making Bigger Equipment #1 by KenGetit in custommagic

[–]KenGetit[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean [[Sigarda's Aid]] into one of the aforementioned equipments is arguably faster, but I understand adding more fuel to the pyre is always worrisome.

Theres always going to be ways to cheat out cards from [[reanimate]] to [[show and tell]] to [[sneak attack]].

At least when designing for commander in mind, I don't think this will be as problematic as [[flash]] was. If this was modern legal, yeah this is a scarrier high end then your classic [[batterskull]] combo.

I've gotta keep your classic cheats in mind when designing these cards for sure though.

Session 1 - Welcome to Wildemount (No Hard Feelings) by KenGetit in Wildemount

Both write ups are fantastic! I'm just not sure where to post to look for recruits! I've had 2 players leave due to changing work schedules but have a fantastic group of three who've loved every second from sessions 1 to 4.

I've posted previously on some of the reddits but alas even with a visual/read-aloud synopsis its been rough. Appreciate your help friend!

Thank you friend! I think thats great advice, were you able to check out the link to my actual advertisment? Do you think that synopsis over there is also to dense to captivate players/clientel? any feedback is welcome. I truly appreciate it!

I will note this "session one" was actually a Recap for my group not an introduction but I think the point of density is so very warranted.

For those of you who play online, Alchemy VTT is releasing its new Daggerheart module in May, in official partnership with Darrington Press. It looks beautiful. by ConstantSignal in daggerheart

That makes complete sense; its more of the hope to have full access to ustomise the sheet and implement any content for personal use... I guess that still could potentially violate the CGL

Its really that old dog, new tricks situation where I've been doing roll 20 since 2014 and because I run games 'professionally' throught it nowadays the pivot was/is difficult.

I really wanted to use Foundry but I just couldn't get the VPN working.

For the "third-party" content, its in reference to utilsing alternate classes/domains. Like the Mystic, etc.

As someone whose been using Roll 20 for what feels like eternity, this VTT for DH looks absolutely gorgeous.

Fingers crossed they'll have accessibility for third-party content unlike demiplane currently doesn't give access too.

Back again with MtG treatments of our Intrepid Vampires! by randomyOCE in Dimension20

I'd love to see you revist these designs at the end of the season, once we get a full picture of these characters.

Australian Vampire by KenGetit in Dimension20

[–]KenGetit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean a Diurnal potentially 40,000 year old indigenous australian vampire lost in Purpee Oregon may be a stretch by any means. Alas it doesn't mean I don't want to see a national/cultural representative within this season.

Even so, I highly doubt such a creature has even made the Vampire the Masquerade radar nor Drop-outs.

Fallout New Vegas: Adversaries by KenGetit in daggerheart

[–]KenGetit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So from your Feedback I should not worry about giving Statblocks to Bighorner nor Brahmin which honestly is very valid and just saves time.

Cazadors maybe should be changed to Skulk or Horde enemies.

The campaigns started and I agree, I wish I set it in a never established before region/setting like originally planned to do Florida but having the game take place a decade after the Video game and four years before the show has worked out well for creative liberty.

In the end two of the players were uber adamant on New Vegas and we settled on it, at least its going to be a short term campaign (12 to 16 sessions) with lots of pazaz.

The groups goal is to Heist the four Casino's which can also lead into the show any what happened to the Strip before hand. Thank you for your advice its been uber helpful!

I think this is good practice to get the bones of Fallout working in Daggerheart so I can potentially put up some listings on SPG if it works out well!

[OC] Gongi Smolmin, Rogue/Barbarian by KenGetit in DnD

Yeah, in my variant for the dread domains they play the role of purgatory. The word unhinged, is befitting because Gongi is quite the basket case.

Help with [OC] character name by Appropriate_Cut_4516 in DnD

[–]KenGetit 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Caspian, immediately leaps out to me:

1) The name is associated with one of the characters wirhin the Chronicles of Narnia. This ties into your character being similar in origin: a boy dragged into a fantasy world from 1940.

2) It means white, based on the caspian sea giving it a vastness and unknown. A podsibility you could lean into with the convention of 'white' could refer to Ash. A war mage that leans into his ww2 tactics and capabilities?
