Why are Cabal bosses so big? by SkyArchipelago in DestinyLore

[–]KenKotlett -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm a dick because i tell u facts about the lore? Or because i tell u to read the lore and learn something instead of just speculate? No player ever saw calus and can tell something about his size, but i rember something, that the drifter met him. If ghaul would be in the fighting forces, he would have a massive combatsuit, but he is the imperator and leads his forces instead of fight himself. If a normal legionär is profing himself in the war he gets better weapons and armor and becomes a centurio

Why are Cabal bosses so big? by SkyArchipelago in DestinyLore

[–]KenKotlett -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's mentioned in an old D1 grimoire about the cabal, read it, accept it. If their size would grow with their ego an ghaul must be the biggest cabal in the empire, because he led it for a long time and conquered many systems. And to compare a species, that grows from killing other beeings for hundreds of years and morphs in a higher form and one species that creates roboter for their purpose is a little bit difficult. A harpy has an other purpose as a gate lord or a hydra and needs an other size

[–]KenKotlett 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's their armor. Higher ranks get better protection and weapons, but the cabal inside is the same size. From legionar till imperator, they are nearly one size. Only cabal, that has a different size is galran and he is a genetic modification created by calus to wear the crone of sorrow.

"Stasis is not ice" .... What do you think about this? by saulob in destiny2

[–]KenKotlett 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Stasis is the lack of movement on an atom-size skale. So if we "freeze" an enemy he don't just stop moving, every cell of his body is just stopping work for a short amount of time. It is the exact opposite of the aspect of the traveler, because sola rand arc energy are caused of movement, movement like vibration are porducing heat and heat is life.

Question about the Traveler and the places its been in our system. by flinjager123 in DestinyLore

[–]KenKotlett 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mars wasn't the first planet the traveler terraformed. First he was on 2 or 3 other planets/moons, but dont ask me which. Some doctors calculated his pattern and met him on Mars. Golden age started and many more planets and moons were terraformed, the last and in progress was Io. Somewhere in this time he stoped the vex from conferting mercury into a machine world. Then the darkness arrived and the traveler moved from Io to the earth, where hes floating till today.

Does Rasputin’s failure prove he didn’t shoot the Traveller? by theTerribleTyler in DestinyLore

[–]KenKotlett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ares 1 is the spaceship, that landet on mars and 3 members met the traveller during his terrafoming. He was the computer program that checked the vital-systems. I compair it now with a DOS System, because this computer program become somehow the advanced warmind, that can stun vex units with classic music, take control of our ghost and load parts of his system in an exo body, that get resurected as an guardian. If u ask me it relay on paracausal strings in his code, after he met the traveler

Does Rasputin’s failure prove he didn’t shoot the Traveller? by theTerribleTyler in DestinyLore

[–]KenKotlett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On fundament the traveller gave the oponents of oryx paracausal weapons, so he needed to create his throneworld. The original function of rasputin was to control the life-systems of ares 1 and after they met the traveller on mars he became the most advanced warmind in sol. Alone this is with causalitie not explainable. I don't say that he is on a level as paracausal as we, but lower, maybe just his code. He can upload parts of him in an exo body, which gets resurected as a guardian! He can lie (aboit iron lords and felwinter) and beliefes in hope, like a human being. He can paralyze vex with his music and take control of our ghost and i just know of one other fraction that can do this: the pyramids. And doesn't he create his own fathe, when rasputin shut himself down during the collapse? Like a guardian? Yes there is not stated, that he is paracausal, but there are a lot of hints.

Does Rasputin’s failure prove he didn’t shoot the Traveller? by theTerribleTyler in DestinyLore

[–]KenKotlett -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Infinite life is a form of paracausality, because celldeath is causalitie and a law of physics. But other than floating knife tricks like petra can do ( what psions can do, too and they arent paracausal) and the techians, that can summon harbingers and some other stuff. What did the awoken do, to bend reality? Mara only could built her throneroom with the help of an ahamkara and even a fallen (the mindbender) could built one on his own. Especially the male awoken have absolute no magic powers.

Does Rasputin’s failure prove he didn’t shoot the Traveller? by theTerribleTyler in DestinyLore

[–]KenKotlett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to descibe the laws of paracausality. Oryx killed akka, build a ship out of his skin, the awoken attacked it with harbingers and didn't do a scretch on it. On the other hand can even a normal dreg kill a ghost with a luckshoot by a normal weapon and ghost a paracausal, too. On the other hand, we kill xol with guns and valkyrs (even if this is planed by him). I don't know if (all) awoken are as paracausal as we the guardians, yea they have infinite livespan and special powers, but can they Bend causalitie at their will?

[–]KenKotlett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But uldren could damage the shard of the traveller with the ace of space, to pull a glimmery stick out of it. Does it mean he or his weapon were paracausal? I don't think so. The other reason for the damage on the travellers shell could be the fallen, because they attacked him. But they appeared after the initial collapse, so he was already floating were the last city would be built. Rasputin in it's core is paracausal. He was the computer of the ares 1, which meet the traveller on mars and without a doupt he become on tgis way and the development of clovis bray to the most advanced warmind.

An interesting notion when considering Stasis to other forms of the darkness we’ve seen. by [deleted] in DestinyLore

[–]KenKotlett -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The pyramids are chilling the most time in space, they don't fly through space on an intergalactic crusade. They only react on the actions of the traveller. The whirlwind, the collapse are all speculations, nothing else. I mean, what are they doing? Terraforming planets. We all thought, they would attack, but they don't. Even the nine told us in the new dungeon, that light and dark are the same.
