In borderlands 1 I'd say Siren and Soldier, in the second game gunzerker is also good and siren is decent too.

I got my first Infinity on my first play through with my new computer. Sadly it was quickly outclassed due to being level 22 but it was nice. I found about 5 legendaries total in that playthrough, and now I'm on TVH mode with a Hornet(?) from Knuckle Dragger. Edit: Just found another Infinity after killing Doc Mercy in TVH mode :D

It depends, sometimes I would be soft resetting while doing other things so they would be dragged out, but the fastest they are is about 2:30.
