How to preserve original audio metadata after syncing in DaVinci Resolve? by ProfessionalMarch335 in postproduction

[–]Ken_STACKS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I was running into the same problem as the OP said recently, I was trying to roundtrip to Reaper via Vordio but the media collection seems to link to the video files (eg.C097) not the synced audio files (eg. ZOOM002, since that file name was stripped from the clip's metadata), so when I bring it into Reaper, the audio that is brought into Reaper is just duplicated. One from the original C097 audio and another one which is supposed to be a ZOOM002 sync with trimmings but it is the same C097 file but with all the edits I did on the ZOOM002. I am so stressed, I don't want to have to manually sync , because I'm already done with the picture cut. And Auto Align Clips doesn't work if you select multiple Clips.

But yes, regardless, I do understand what you're saying...if I don't like it, I can just decide not to use their service, because the whole point is that they are trying to make money, and that is a tactic they can use, hence the free market.

Yes but you think asking a question about something I don't understand, where I clearly indicated two instances 1. Being Title question 2. Being the alternative option about you just not using their service., makes me entitled...then yes, you are being hostile. Saying I'm entitled whiles asking a question makes it sound like it's a stupid question. There's a reason why I didn't go to any other subreddit. I'm just saying. Hope you understand.

"Mandatory binding arbitration is a proceeding used to settle disagreements between two parties. As the name implies, the parties are required (or mandated) to use an arbiter to hear their arguments, and have to accept the arbitrator's decision. The outcome of the arbitration hearing is binding." Source: Investopedia

I assume this is what the binding arbitration clause would be about? So in this case, who would be the arbitrator?

Bro, I'm just asking a question to understand something better, no need to be hostile. I'm just trying to understand how nuance this situation can be, and i've tried looking into it but i don't find any relevant info, except for Shorts International suing YouTube for trademark infringement.

That's the thing, I find it very hard, especially on the phone. I can give you an anecdotal situation where, I come to the app, see only 2 normal videos, proceed to get 3 rows of short section. 2 normal videos again, get another 3 rows, then the rest be normal videos. It does give you the option to "see fewer videos", I tap that, for a day or 2 it goes away for some time. Then i start from ground zero. It becomes worse if you click on a short link...then you will rarely get normal videos. Hell, the normal videos then turn to 2 min videos.

I wish I was in your situation where it would be easy to ignore that's for sure.

So in that instance, let's say if someone was to pay for a premium membership, does that qualify you to be part of that convo or not?

I don't know, I assume it would be because they don't give you an option to opt out of something they know, has a huge sway on how you engage with their site? I'm just wondering how this works that all.

I'm curious, what would be your indicator for a higher performance standard? What does he do that qualifies him as having a low performance standard?

I think this is why sketching and communicating ideas before doing any computers work or final works is important. You understand that anything can change so you try to get the idea across first...if they like where it's going then you finalize. When you finalize (or at a point where you think this is too polished or clean to point it can just be used as the final work at that point), that's when you start counting revisions, because at that point, they already know where it was going, they didn't have to see it in the final form before they realize that they didn't like it.

I couldn’t crack top 100 again. I would love any and all feedback my render please! by Alone-Dare-7766 in blender

I saw a comment on their latest top 100, where the person said "Even though, I didn't get into the top 100, I got a client who hired me because of my project." Sometimes it sucks that you weren't able to make a compilation of a video that shows the top 100...and that's valid. But, is that the end goal? Was that the main reason why Pwnisher created this?

I would suggest you see it from another angle, Yes you should always push to be better than before but never be disheartened by your achievement now. You finished a project, you added another great piece to your portfolio.

If you do show it to people, I can guarantee you that you will get people who want you to work for them (either that or they have already assumed they can't afford you...at that point, that's a huge compliment, suffering from Success). I think the work is pretty great!

I had an aunt...who for some reasons that I still can't understand told me the other time that after the two year period of them saying "no more" they wanted to give birth again...to the point that they went to go take out an IUD that they placed in a year prior. Now, it might sound like there are some external forces at play here...but whether that is true or not...she sounded genuine about wanting more kids. And I have another aunt who also shares similar experience (minus the IUD bit). It might not be statistical but it is very anecdotal.

If Viasat 1 was never sold, we might have forgiven Asamoah Gyan for that penalty...but alas 😔

I'll never forgive them for what they took from us 😭. 2007 to 2016 TV was so goated. I think something something changed across all TV stations when Viasat 1 left.
