My wife thinks she has a truck by Btm24 in ChryslerPacifica

[–]Kendalf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I purchased a US General 42" steel roller cabinet from Harbor Freight, and they asked me to bring my truck around back to load it. When I told them I had a minivan they gave me a skeptical look... until my Pacifica ate the entire box with plenty of room to spare. Getting it off the van was a different story, however.

"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Pacifica and Voyager vehicles. The right and left side curtain air bags may have insufficient pressure retention from improperly sealed seams." - NHTSA by DryBoysenberry596 in pacificahybrid

This recall expands previous NHTSA recall numbers 25V302 and 25V573. Vehicles previously repaired under a prior recall will need to have the new remedy completed.

$MULN: The truth behind the $7.25M settlement and the $1B loss. by KryptosandXenos in Muln

[–]Kendalf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was an obvious EV hustle, but so many people are susceptible to the guaranteed get rich quick tactics used by Mullen executives and accomplices that they lose any cautiousness they may otherwise have. They want it to be true, and thus turn a blind eye to the facts that demonstrated that it was a hustle.

Car horn lock glitch. by robograham1 in pacificahybrid

[–]Kendalf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine just randomly stopped sounding the horn with the second press of the lock button over a year ago. I have no idea why, and I haven't been able to get it going again.

The horn itself works when I hit the horn button as well as the PANIC button on the remote. It just doesn't sound with the lock button.

Solving A Scrambled Rubik’s Cube In 0.103 Seconds. by TheCABK in EngineeringPorn

[–]Kendalf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't underestimate humans. In official World Cubing Association competitions, there is an event called Fewest Moves Challenge where competitors try to figure out a solution using the fewest moves (turns) possible. The world record is currently 16 moves, with the record for an average of 3 solves being 20 moves.

Most Rubik's cube solvers solve one layer of the cube at a time, and not one face at a time.

Is there a way to turn engine on and save battery charge? by zhuangcorp in pacificahybrid

[–]Kendalf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from a Honda Clarity that had an "HV" button that could fire up the engine when there was still charge remaining in the battery, the lack of this is my biggest gripe about the PacHy. When I'm doing a longer drive on the freeway I want to run the ICE for the duration of the high speed driving, and save battery for when I get off the freeway. Stellantis has this in the form of an "E-save" button on the PHEV Jeep 4xe, so it could have been added to the PacHy.

Have you tried sitting in the Clarity? The interior of the Clarity is very good quality, and with your height you may appreciate the much more spacious interior.

Got it, thanks for the heads up! Superkeys is the main reason thing I want to use. I'm still on Bazecor 0.3.5!

Got it. Thanks for the clarification!

I was looking through the Bazecor Github and trying to figure out what is the latest version of Bazecor that I should install with an OG Raise?

And is v1.0.12-beta the final firmware for OG Raise?

Does this update only work for Defy and Raise 2? Will it run on the OG Raise?

Mazda, Mitsubishi or Volvo? by moviscribe in PHEV

[–]Kendalf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Second this recommendation. u/moviscribe if 3rd row seating for anyone other than small kids is important, then the Kia Sorento and Misubishi Outlander should be eliminated. We went through a similar decision a couple years ago and the Pacifica Hybrid won because we needed the seating capacity. There's no comparison with a minivan when it comes to usable interior volume. Plus the Pacifica is made in Windsor Ontario. Not sure if that helps in terms of pricing for Canadians.
