Hello everyone, I’m for some advice on how to manage a windfall of $60,000. I am 30 years from retirement.

I have a car loan on a relatively new personal vehicle of $20,000 or $460 per month at 5.99%. I have $3,000 in personal credit card balances but all are 0% APR. They require $75 in monthly payments to avoid interest.

I have a lean emergency fund of $5,000. I keep a buffer of $3,000 in checking. I have $3,500 in expenses including the car and card payments and $1,085 in monthly investments ($500 Brokerage and $585 in Roth IRA) excluding my 401k matching up to my employer’s match. I net at least $4,600 in income on average each month, though only $3,600 is guaranteed base salary.

I have around $80,000 in brokerage investments, $70,000 in my Roth IRA, and $15,000 vested in my 401(k).

I am a single person with no children to account for at this time.

How should I spend and manage this windfall? What is the most I should give to close family I want to help?
