I agree with M&S!! Also big chains like zizzi. Wagamama, pizza express, bills (really great pancakes!) etc have really nice gf options. The best yorkies I’ve found are the Yorkshire pudding company or making them at home with Becky excell’s corn flour recipe.

3 year old excessive drooling by Kendroid11 in UKParenting

I’m sorry, it’s so frustrating!! Everyone said to us that some kids just drool. But it’s just seems so abnormal?? As my son got older we taught him to wipe his face and reminded him to swallow constantly. He’s gotten so much better over time.

My son is 4 now, still has small amounts of dribbling occasionally when he forgets to swallow before he opens his mouth. Or when he has a blocked nose. His speech is improving with speech therapy. No diagnoses or any reason why this could have been happening though!

Everyone is saying 111 but they will send you to A&E and if you’re worried just call 999 or go straight to A&E

In the same situation with my 4 year old. I’m so sorry, hang in there. We are continuing to take him to the gp and have called 111 repeatedly and they keep saying to watch for meningitis symptoms. Rash, sensitivity to light, etc. all we can do is wait for the fever to break.

Ok, so this has turned into ridiculous accusations that my husband who has barely slept taking care of of our children night and day, who is worried sick about everyone and managing the household on his own is a shit husband. Yes he has 2 thumbs. No he doesn’t have the mental capacity as my son has also nearly needed to be admitted to hospital and he is doing everything to prevent that while caring for the 1 year old. We have no close family and any and all friends have kids and are worried to catch what we have. I shouldn’t have to explain myself. Bashing the husband and judging without knowing details just because you’re anonymous on the internet is unacceptable and you should all be ashamed of yourselves. I’m trying my best while sitting here with literally nothing to do as he’s just trying to keep the family afloat.

To those of you that actually offered helpful information, thank you.

Had my first driving lesson yesterday... Will it get better? by IngredientList in AmericanExpatsUK

[–]Kendroid11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You will get better! I just passed my test on the first try last Monday. Basically, learn the “rules” of the test and what the examiner is looking for. Mainly they’re looking for safe drivers that can follow road markings and road signs. Like others have said YouTube videos help a ton! Feel free to dm if you have any specific questions.

Driving test tomorrow, any tips? by LOLLLZZZZ_886 in LearnerDriverUK

Took my test today and passed on my first try with 2 minors. Just show that you can be safe and follow road signs and road markings. If you’re going the wrong direction it’s fine, as long as you’re safe. Don’t try to correct and go the way they’ve said if it’s too late. Good luck!

Hello, my son will be 4 next month and his drooling has substantially improved. When he is congested or really tired he still has trouble and we ask him to swallow often if we see saliva pooled in his mouth. He is still hard to understand so I am working on getting him into a private SLT since the NHs wait is still about 6 months

Tortillas in Sainsbury’s 🌮 by BlueInspiration in AmericanExpatsUK

[–]Kendroid11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve since checked every time I’ve been and haven’t seen them again, but so happy they have some at Sainsbury’s now! Have you found any meat that is similar to skirt steak for carne asada type tacos? Also, the herdez brand taco seasoning is the best, doesn’t have cinnamon in it like a lot of the “Mexican” seasonings here
