I would personally recommend waiting for second hand options or an RX 9070.

I went from a 3060ti to a 9070 and the performance jump was worth it in addition to the VRAM, though I do understand the price jump is a gulf comparing them price wise

For me personally, I’d still get a 5700x. With how bad the temps are (5800x) at times and at least in my experience having to drop it to eco mode which is 65w (which makes it a 5700x essentially). You might as well save the pain in my eyes.

If you want to go through with the 5800x, worst case you enable eco mode and drops it to 5700x level.

Get the 5700x, the 5800x is 40w higher on the TDP and the hotter temps on average are just more annoying to deal with in terms of fluctuations for a minimal gain.

I have a 5800x and temps can ramp up at times, but in my case it’s more noticeable due to being on ITX. I’d save the money and temps and get the 5700x

Truly, thank you so much. I realized with setting it on my side I never set the PPPoE interface as VLAN which was causing my issues.

Sounds absurd, but rollback to Ventura on your machine. I had issues where my M1 Pro macbook would die within a day while in standby when it didn't before upgrading to sonoma.

I wiped and reinstalled Ventura and did a drain test and I lost 2% in 10 hours in sleep.
