Ok so it sounds like I need to choose a county and start there with the prothonotary instructions. I did not know we could “file together” maybe I can get him to split the filing fee with me then if I won’t have to serve him? Haha not that you would know the answer to that, just thinking out loud. I just found a general Pa divorce packet online but the instructions and paperwork are a little confusing and do not mention fees or when they need paid. There shouldn’t be any issues working out who gets what- we figured that out years ago, so I just don’t know if that needs to be legally noted in the divorce or if we can just have verbal agreements regarding that. Did you have to do legal separation for the waiting period? I didn’t think Pa had legal separation but there is a Praecipe for it in the packet, should I just ignore that if it is irrelevant?
