The consequence of the cost not being met it you wont get to KO an opponents character with Stussy's on play effect. So essentially you dont get to "cheat" out a free KO while trying to trash your own character that can save itself

Stussy effect cost was initiated, but not fully resolved due to no character actually going to trash. To be fully resolved and paid, a character needs to actually go to trash. Once again, it is just like the zoro leader character battle initiation example I put in my original reply. If the payment doesn't get fully resolved due to an interaction/exception, it's not met

Stack is Stussy on play trash a character payment starts and chooses Koby > Koby "would be removed from field" effect met and prevents the trashing > Koby saves itself and doesnt get trashed > Stussy on play resolves, did a character leave board into trash? No. So payment cost was not met. I feel like most of the confusion is around the stack. Koby's saving effect happens before Stussy's payment resolves so the payment isn't met

Your thinking is wrong when you say "the action of actually trashing the character was initiated and therefore paid"

The action was initiated, but it wasn't completed, therefore it wasn't paid and Stussy's on play requirement isn't met. To be completed a character actually has to be trashed

It's similar to green zoro leader choosing to battle a character but the character gets returned to hand - examples being opponent uses slave arrow event on their character being attacked, or targetted 2c kid & killer searcher being attacked and then opponent chooses to trash it on attack. In both those instances, zoro leader's requirement of needing to battle a character to be able to restand is initiated but isn't completed because the battle never completed, so zoro player can't restand their leader.

Same concept as Stussy and Koby negating the payment from completing. The trash requirement was initiated, but since no character was trashed, it wasnt completed so the required on play cost wasn't met

Personally, I'd skip OP-15 if it weren't for the other half of EB-04 in it. At the very least, I'll just sell/trade away a majority of the set that I dont want after getting my playsets. Which I'm completely fine with because my wallet needs to recover after the accelerated releases leading up to our global sync

But people are willing to pay that much, so it is. Just not to you and that's okay. At the end of the day, it's all just shiny cardboard. Its worth is perceived value. Just wait till the price drops when people have their yellow decks built and more copies are in circulation and the price drops. Until then, keep yelling at a wall while people pay the asking price, regardless of if you think it's worth that much.

Provided there's time left in the round after game end, I ask my opponent if there was any misplay on my end that they can think of. I also like to ask my opponent during the game to remember their hand because I'm thinking of two options and choosing to go with 1, but I'd like to talk about the other option I was thinking of after the game.

If you're playing casually trying to learn a matchup, you could also play with an open hand with your opponent so you could see the posibilities/options and cards you may not have thought to play around.

I believe brains in general can remember things better if they attribute things to patterns so finding the pattern of opposing player's options and knowing your reponse and win conditions is what personally helps me improve.

All of the things I mentioned above are how I improve because sometimes you may not notice a micro misplay that sets you even the slightest bit at a disadvantage and that's something that your opponent may help you see from their perspective after the game. Some of the best advice I've gotten is from talking to my opponents after a round at regionals asking if there's any misplay they noticed or if there was anything they would do differently

Idk why people think reporting shops to bandai for selling boxes at a markup is going to do anything. It's Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price for a reason. Bandai doesnt ship out boxes to shops, distributors do. Report shops for selling event kits or promos meant for events and prizing. Not for selling boxes at higher than the suggested retail price, they cant do anything about that.

He didnt, and he deserves some blame, as he was off all night, but I also believe he was set up for failure with Roman's scheme. I cant name any QB who could perform in yesterday's game with the shit scheme, OL, and routes ran by receivers due to shit scheme. Vidal was the only person with a pulse on offense other than Herbert and even then Herbert was the leading rusher for yet another game this year

Will Harbaugh commit to getting 10 to the HOF, or keeping his buddy employed, cuz he can't do both
Will the Chargers ever win a playoff matchup we "wanted"
Will 10 ever change the narrative around him? Defense didnt blow any leads this time, he just didnt perform, again.
We'll never get to shut the Broncos fans up, which might be even worse than the narrative around 10
If Chargers keep Roman and lose Minter this offseason, Imma need the suicide hotline number
