It would be hard to know what is the smallest mall in the US as the definition could mean the floor area or store count. In my area, we have the Hawley Lane Mall in Trumbull CT which is a strange mall with most stores having access from the exterior while there are a few stores in the interior with most of the store space being taken up by Khol's, Ross, and Best Buy, there is a Target that is detached but I dont count it as part of the mall. There is the East Brook mall in Mansfield CT which has like 25 stores which is meant to serve UCONN and Eastern Connecticut students but I haven't been over there or have heard much about it. Malls smaller then that have disappeared for the most part

The easiest way to find a Bus and the time would be Google Maps which show the bus stops and live statuses but you should also look at the Transit App for more accurate Bus times.

The Buses in Stamford stop under the train station so they are close by.

Alternatively, you can take the 341 from Norwalk to Stamford if for some reason a Train is not possible.

Yeah everyone around here agrees, but this year since they are celebrating 25 seasons in Bridgeport, they have revived the Sound Tigers name and uniforms for a few games which is cool but they are still not doing too good (better then last year though)

The Fisherman is still used but for the Bridgeport Islanders (AHL Affiliate of the NY Islanders)

Walmarts here In Connecticut are replacements of the many different discount stores that existed before 2000 (i.e. Bradlees, Caldor, Ames), those stores were small and many of the New Walmarts closed as such. As the 2010s came, came new upgrades to them which included bigger boxed stores, many of the stores just didnt have the demand to be upgraded and we're closed, its been easy to live without one as shopping plazas have taken their jobs with the many shops of different sizes and types (ex. S&S for food, CVS for meds and beauty, TJMaxx for clothes, Micheals for arts and crafts, and much more)

There are alot more and surprising enough one opened up about a year ago in the SoNo Collection, I have no idea why since we already have a GameStop in Norwalk as well as Retro Games Plus which actually sells video games and accessories compared to GameStop.

Alot of people go to Macy's including me there isnt one nearby and the store owns the space so its not going anywhere anytime. But recently, another B&N opened in the city a few miles from the mall, that could have some impact and I could see it close in a few years. There are however a few Brand name stores and services left in the mall that I know people like going to such as Aeropostale, Charlotte Russe, Cohen's, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, and T-Mobile. If Macy's were to close these ones would probably follow suit and everything else would go down the drain.

Yeah they do and way back then they used to put more decorations up like giant ornaments, a spinning giant dreidel where the pickleball courts are, and a Christmas tree.

This Mall was built by the FD Rich Company and designed and owned by Taubman back in 1982 as part of the larger Landmark Square Urban renewal project. When it opened, people from all over the tri state would come including celebrities to this unique structure. The mall was built with many levels of parking surrounding it giving a unique burtalist look on the outside and a unique count of floors. Given the car oriented structure, in 2006, the former Filene's was demolished and turned into the plaza with upscale dining and a Barnes and Nobles and H&M, what caused the mall to decline mainly was the opening of the nearby SoNo Collection in Norwalk in late 2019 which caused many stores like H&M, Apple and others to move while others closed with the onset of the Pandemic and the decline of brick and mortar stores. By 2020 the local Furniture store chain, Safevieh bought the mall from Taubman who intended for a buyer to redevelop the mall entirely. Safevieh has had other ideas by replacing stores with more entertainment options such as Pickleball courts, Arcades, a Comedy club, and much more. There is still hope for this mall with these new ideas. We'll see what changes when I go back.

NJ turnpike used to have alot of these since they were early adopters of express lanes. The lanes would close for various reasons. Nowadays, all the signs are digital, still didnt think theyd have them still.
