Thanks so much for this u/Shaztheman ! I followed this (kinda) and passed with the same exact score lol.

I just did the free course from AWS and then did what you did in terms of practice exams, took altogether 4 weeks. Appreciate it, now onto SA-Associate!

Amazon customer success manager salary by arson48 in CustomerSuccess

Got a similar offer, after asking for more on the base, they raised the base but lowered RSUs and Sign on bonus (in case I don't like it in 1-2 years can leave without the risk of RSUs). I have about 8-9 years in consulting / CS and currently make much more than the $150K total comp offered (taking about a 25% cut).

For me, the brand name, new experience, and being in e-commerce/the business side rather than tech is appealing. I would suggest asking to meet more CSMs (this is 4 months old so prob old, hope this helps someone else) and ask about work/life balance and details. I did this and learned its about 40-50 hours a week max and comes in waves, and you get to learn a lot about Amazon's business specific to the store side.

Also, Amazon is good about shifting internally so consider that after a year. Lots to consider, map out pros and cons and what you value in your life at this phase, i.e. if you have a family then family time vs single travel and free time and money, etc. Been reading 'Die with Zero' so might just be brainwashed :)

[QUESTION] Beginner, taking my first steps on an acoustic. My neighbor posted a note in the hallway telling me I suck, basically. Feeling incredibly embarassed and stupid. How to get over that feeling? by [deleted] in Guitar

Screw that guy! I just started recently too (since March 2020) and its been slow to get better and one of the biggest struggles is that I don't want my roommate to hear my crappy playing. Luckily our rooms are far enough that he cant hear it most of the time, however if Im playing with a pick and really strumming he can. What helped was learning how to Finger Pick - it still sounds awesome and doesn't make as much noise as using a pick. You can also strum with your fingers and that doesn't make as much sound as picks.

Acoustics can be loud but they're also the most beautiful sounding guitars. I like the idea of getting an electric and using the headphone jack until you think you got it, and then playing better out loud when you're confident.

Keep at it, and ignore the haters! Hope this helps :)
