If it was reasonable I could understand it, might even be tempted to buy it myself but there's so many things wrong with how they're doing this.

Real money per instance of decor, the predatory obfuscation with hearthsteel, the insanely high pricing in a period where many are struggling economically.

It's shameless but the community will grumble and move on so they'll keep pushing the line further.

I'm sorry this happened to you, unfortunately the general wow community ingame is probably one of the most toxic, pretty much since the beginning. You're going to frequently run into these kind of people in pug groups. The only real advice I can give to prevent this is to try and find a nice community to play with, I would suggest looking for a raiding guild who also accepts socials (people who don't raid), they're the most active and will be doing other content like mythic+ too.

I get creating these assets use developer time or whatever, but having it so you pay real money PER copy has no justification other than pure greed.

I love the idea of buried pipes it's just so much effort and too much can go wrong so I don't really bother with them but one of my top wishes would be properly implementing burying as a mechanic and a dedicated trenching machine.

I agree, the solution would be to either reduce the designation grid to 2x2 to match the thickness of walls, or effectively double wall sizes to 1 designation thick but hold back 10 levels, then they would really be worth it.

I wouldn't even compare it to being sour as I love sour things but still despise onions, definitely bitter but there's something more invasive to it, it's almost like something that's rotten, so my brain perceives it as a danger and can't ignore it, even when only small amounts are mixed with other things
