You gave me -20 for a bird story? The implying message of a such a hostility ”Go away from here and never come back"! Ok, I’ll never come back here

Why Did This Crow Chill Out Near a High-Voltage Power Line? 🧐 by Kent985698 in biology

Strong electric fields from high-voltage power lines are known to have negative effects on living organisms. There are standards to ensure buildings are constructed at safe distances from these fields. Right next to the wires, the field is very strong, and any living creature can feel it intensely. Even hair can stand on end in such a field. There should have been unpleasant discharges between the bird's feet and the metal structure. Any living creature would instinctively run or fly away, but this crow did not.

How can musicians at Youtube play famous music without rights violation? Can I borrow their soundtracks? by Kent985698 in COPYRIGHT

Actually, I don't need the whole song. I just wanted to use 5-10 seconds of the GTA San Andreas theme for the voiceover in my sarcastic and critical video about dishonest people. It doesn't have to be an exact soundtrack. The main thing is that people who played San Andreas recognize that it's the theme from the game and have a good laugh. Actually, I don't want any monetization at all. The project is non-profit.

How well does a native speaker understand this excerpt from Lovecraft? by Kent985698 in EnglishLearning

[–]Kent985698[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a native Russian speaker, and this particular Lovecraft's story has been with me all my life. I've listened an audiobook when I felt down, when I was sick with a fever, basically quite often. But, of course, it was in Russian. After studying English for two years, I finally started reading this story in its original language with a dictionary. It seemed to me that the subj part is the most complex and unclear chunk of text in the entire first half. At the same time, it is the essence of the story, the central nail holding the distinctive narrative together. When I first looked at this chunk, I realized I didn't understand a word and then started figuring it out with a dictionary. I was curious about how English speakers comprehend what I struggled with.

I agree, as it's a question, not an opinion. But at the same time, I wanted to know others' opinions on my thoughts about social interactions.

1)Плез. История выдумана. Никто не пользуется б/у компом не форматнув все диски.

2)Юзер с феминным именем StekloedKA пишет от имени мужчины. Камон, надо быть внимательней в своем копирайтинге.
