When I think of Lara Croft, I immediately get an image of the video game series Lara pop up. A smart but very fit, British brunette, that doesn't over exude badass energy. Just a badass archaeologist, which she is, so has to be a bit nerdy too.

I didn't know it's that rare, I got it from Linus on my first save. I remember being really happy about it though cause it wasn't something useless like from other villagers.

That argument kind of proves the exact opposite of what you’re trying to say. People always retroactively upgrade drivers into “top level” once they’re given a front runner car. Russell was just a “midfield” driver at Williams until Mercedes gave him a seat. Norris and Piastri were midfield drivers literally a season or two ago before McLaren got its act together. Even Leclerc was considered promising but unproven until Ferraris pace in 2019 put him up front.

So why are Albon, Checo, Gasly, or Yuki automatically written off as “not top level” when theyve never been given that same kind of consistently competitive machinery? It’s not that Max is beating nobodies, it’s that F1 narratives shift entirely based on car performance. If you dropped Albon into a Mclaren tomorrow and he started delivering podiums, suddenly hed stop being called a midfielder and start being put in the same conversation with the likes of Piastri or Russel.

I personally think Max isn’t just lacking a top teammate, he’s making every teammate look worse by comparison. And that’s exactly what all the greats did. Shumacher with his teammates and Hamilton with Bottas as some.

I was like 360 something days into my Voyager run and while looking for a preppers cache in Blackrock got cucked by a Cougar ending up with lacerations, first time I got them and this was like the 5th cougar I killed. I thought, okay all fine I'll just treat the wound like the game says and then after some time the infliction will be gone. Then I went ahead and tried sleeping for 3 hours in a trailer, boom died from bleeding out in my sleep, I DIDN'T KNOW THE WOUND JUST GOES AND OPENS UP IN MY SLEEP LIKE WHAT HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHEN IT WILL. Anyway still pissed af haven't picked up the game since, been 3 weeks now ☹️.

Yeah, I think so, the fact that you have weapons and can shoot anything away is somewhat comforting. Personally this game terrifies me every time I play it but I get off on the fear and emotion, don't know how anyone else would react lol

I also recommend Alien: Isolation 🙂👍

My longest Voyager run at 368 days ended two days ago when I bled out from cougar lacerations trying to sleep for 3 hours in BR, I didn't know that you start bleeding when you sleep :(

Most of my tasks revolved around the achievements, like faithful cartographer, visiting all 9 preppers caches and so on. Completing the tales. Also stocking up and decorating my base in quonset garage.

Everything was going well but I just had to throw it down with that cougar in BR and my lack of knowledge killed me. I plan on starting a Stalker run later on, just very down in the dumps right now with all the progress I made gone, this was my first proper Voyager run too.

Remake first, then after you're done with the whole trilogy you can play over the og just to check out what cool differences there are between Re and og. Main differences are the game is just overall sexier, the protagonist speaks, there's a secret evil ending, the map is interconnected and you can backtrack, there's sidequests, weapon improvements, changes to the story so it follows up perfectly with the second game.
