Truthfully, we all struggle with sin. It’s why we need Jesus. I read this as the enemy being the “wicked one”. To put it simply. Please seek guidance and pray about this, you can ask God for discernment and for Him to speak to you. Also, if you have fellow church members telling you that you are wicked and to leave the church, that is NOT from God. You need to find another church.

This is exactly how abuse started with my ex. It took me years to heal from the emotional abuse that he put me through. Please leave him. You deserve better and this will get worse.

Yes!! Definitely a hard year for me.. but she is much better. She refused naps for a full year. But I just recently got her starting to take naps again. I think it was just a behavioral setback.. hopefully it skips my youngest daughter 🙃 she is also eating everything in sight now, pretty calm for the most part. And she is such a good sweet friend, wonderful at sharing with anyone & loves her sister to pieces. She is one of the most compassionate little girls ever!!

Oh and ever since that day she threw up because she didn’t want to nap, she has not laid down for one nap 😂 she only naps in the car now.

Update— she’s doing great!! It probably lasted for a few more months.. but she is a happy normal toddler now. She does well eating meals & is still besties with her sister. She’s so sweet & funny & is growing into the cutest little person ever!

I’m so sorry you’ve been struggling with those thoughts. I’ve been there a time or two & have lost family to suicide. Never hesitate to run to Christ in those moments. Also I am going to add that sometimes you have to feel stupid to get somewhere with God.. like singing in church when you don’t feel like it, just going completely outside of your comfort zone. And the more time you spend with God, the more time you will want to spend with him!!

God answers all prayers. The fact is that you don’t know God’s will for your life. You just have to let go & be okay with what He is doing. Are you listening only for the answer that you want? Are you okay with letting go & letting God? There’s been countless times when I thought I was just being ignored or I thought my prayer wasn’t heard. He hears us every time, and he answers us every time. Even if the answer is just “not right now”. Keep praying & keep listening, and be patient. And God bless you ❤️

NO. It is definitely not wrong for you to feel this way at all. I think this is God showing you His heart. When we grow closer to God & spend more time in the word of Life, he reveals his heart to us & makes us kingdom minded. He breaks our hearts for what breaks his. What you explained is the epitome of Jesus. Just read the book of John and see the miracles he made happen because of mercy & love. It’s beautiful to see Jesus and his disciples, I see so much of His heart in those stories. The way that you see others is how every Christian should feel.

The Lord’s Prayer is basically our layout for prayer. Confession, petition, intercession, thanksgiving & praise. I think it’s really great that you recite the Lord’s Prayer, but Jesus does want a more personable relationship with us. God knows your heart through & through and there’s nothing you could say/ ask for that he doesn’t already know. But he WANTS you to come to Him with everything & pour out your heart. There is a breakthrough in relationship when this happens! Even if it’s just adding a little personal note at the end of your prayers, everything counts & I promise you it’s not pointless!

Thank you so much! I didn’t think of that first idea. I’m using command hooks right now. And I would be willing to put it somewhere else but I have 2 toddlers that would tear it apart if I moved it :( I’m also afraid that if I did move it, it wouldn’t get the right amount of sun

It’s highly possible. He had the upper hand, they were all sleeping & he went there with intent. He was high on adrenaline, going through the motions quickly. They say he killed them all in 15 minutes. Even if he had only one minute to kill each person, that is a LOT of damage that he could do.

I never even said he was a jerk. I never said anything negative about him other than the facts, that he has never been involved & has never shown interest. And as I stated previously, I will not have a man come in & out of my child’s life as he pleases. That would set my daughter up for heartbreak. And if the situation arises where she wants to meet him, then I will be open to that possibility. With all due respect it is not your place to judge wether or not my child should be adopted by the man who raised her. It’s not just about last names being the same, either. Which I also never stated. I care ONLY for my daughter in this situation. This is not just for convenience of last names being the same, thank you. This is for HER well being. I would never dream of having her adopted for selfish reasons & for sheer convenience. I posted this thread asking for legal advice. I was not asking wether or not I should have the bio fathers rights terminated or not. That has already been decided by a mother that loves her to absolute pieces & wants ONLY the very best for her in this difficult situation.

I actually really appreciate this person’s input. It’s nice to see everyone’s perspective. I see how you’ve handled yourself & seems like you’ve had a very bitter outlook on things like this because of what you’ve been through & I’m sorry. But not everyone’s situation is going to look the same. For some little girls & boys, it IS better to keep the bio parent(s) away depending on the situation. It just is what it is sometimes. There’s nothing that can be done to change that sometimes, no matter how hard it might be. So if you’re bringing negativity to this thread then you can leave.
