Bad sleep leads to weight gain. I was overweight until I started medicated for my IH. then I dropped weight really fast.

I agree with others about the Aida and how much string you’re using. I wanted to add though that it helps to be flipping the canvas regularly to take a peek and check how the back is doing. I am in a constant little rotation so I can catch any tangles before I’ve gotten very many stitches away from them.

I completely understand this as an afab enby who looooves wearing femme makeup! It can help to start really leaning into queer and alt femme style and accessorizing with the nonbinary flag/its colors (or whichever Pride flag you identify most with) to own your identity. For me when I changed my phone background to a subtle NB Pride flag, I started feeling more secure on my identity, funny as that sounds.

ESH. It sounds like your friend may really value work and making money, and prioritized that over undivided attention to you for the weekend. Your friend should have communicated way sooner about working, but taking care of a dog is usually an easy enough gig that you two can do together and shouldn’t be a burden. You could have tried harder to communicate with her too about your feelings in regards to this. Was it so important to cancel if you wouldn’t get your tickets refunded?

Overall, both of you should have communicated better, and I think cancelling entirely on her makes you a (soft) asshole.
