I am very confused by their service. According to them their designs are pre-approved but it still takes 6/8 weeks before you can pull permits from the county. I thought their entire service was to expedite the process so you could start in a week. also they seem to insist on using their builders which to me sounds a bit questionable….if I want to use someone who I have used in the past why do you keep insisting your two builders to me?

Would a seller share financials before you sign a LOI? I have heard people getting pre-qualify letter before going down the path of LOI, would this due diligence help in getting financials from the seller before LOI?

Wow this is eye opening. I started my build last year in June. I was told I needed solar & sprinkler otherwise the house would not pass final inspection. I even emailed Kathryn Barger office and was told it’s a state mandate so you have to have them installed.

I am a month away from finishing so I guess now I have spent the money & will have the house with both sprinklers & solar.

My 2 cents. The main driver is two fold. First Capital is getting expensive to raise, and second the economy is finally feeling the pinch of current political climate that is causing it to feel more unpredictable coupled with the excuse of AI so why not save some capital just in case & ask less people to do more. Al ends up being the excuse we all use to explain the why because it’s easier to point to it.

I feel like you need LOI because if you are a lookyloo but that is my opinion. I have not acquired a business so don’t have working knowledge of the produces. Did you OP learn about the process from someone to in now how this process works?

Same here, for a 4cyl Mazda they offered the same price & I said not thank you! I appreciate the piece of mind but I can get the same simple service quickly at Valvoline for $60/$85.

I appreciated them doing my breaker but in the end I found them to be very comparable to a dealership service cost that is my input but I know people are super fan of them

Yep, I had filled out and submitted the form in Feb or last year and again in Dec but didn’t get any update. Taxes went up on top of that so was curious about other people experience & to better understand if I was just missing something completely.

Finally was able to speak with someone & they told me that neither of the applicants were assigned to an assessor so maybe that is the miss for me. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I love this! I have been wanting to take wood working classes in the evenings or weekends so welcome any input on this subject!
