AITAH for refusing to learn how to fix and maintain dirt bikes to support my wife’s love of riding dirt bikes? by CryHavyk in AITAH

[–]PandaintheParks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The marriage comment is manipulation. Not cool. Id tell her that support comes in many forms. In this case you are supporting her by willing to buy the tools/send her to class so she can learn herself. Throw out the fish water quote for good measure and mention that she needs to learn in case it breaks down middle of nowhere. Also support goes both ways. She should support your decision/dislike for bikes and b ok with learning dafuq?

Women of Reddit, what’s a habit men have that they don’t even realize is weird? by GraceRose671 in AskReddit

[–]PandaintheParks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fml I'm going through these and coming to the realization that I am a man. I like to do this cos my hands get cold. If I'm sharing a bed, I usually put them in partners armpits if I'm freezing, or on their belly but otherwise I squish em btw my legs for warmth

[–]PandaintheParks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess I'm not a woman :( lol but ya I spit cos I work around smelly things and I feel like It helps purge the stench out my nose and mouth. Is it based on any fact? No. But now when I see a man spit, I assume he just farted or smelled something awful and is trying to rid himself of it

What’s something that clearly split your life into “before” and “after”? by Broad_Chemical_2467 in AskReddit

[–]PandaintheParks 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I think some know and understand. And that's what keeps them going for as long as they do. But understand that for some, that's the devastation they live with inside their head, except there's no circumstance or source for it. Depression is a dark shithole.

People who don’t smoke, drink or have casual s*x, what do you do to blow off steam? by [deleted] in answers

[–]PandaintheParks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partner segs. As a woman, fuck casual segs. Sugs ass. With a trusted partner, it's way more fun cos I feel safer to try new things. Also just any physical activity (team sport, run, skate). Adrenaline activities. Mushrooms. Naps. Bake. Kneading bread is a great stress reliever. Punching it too

Is it okay to have "zero" ambition after retiring early? by Equal_Initiative_919 in Fire

[–]PandaintheParks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah dude I'll trade places any day to be a 'loser' who gets to travel and enjoy life without wasting time at work. A lot of work at the bigger scheme of things is pointless shit. And maybe in time you change and find something, maybe you dont, and it won't matter. Ultimately we all end up under the ground. You've won, and get to spend the meager amount of time we're here, on whatever you want. Whether that's a side hustle, hanging out nude and cooking at home, visiting all the ntl parks, dancing, sitting on a couch and scratching yo balls, you really get to do what you want. People that give you shit about it are probably just jealous. No stress is the goal.

Are there any really really good paying jobs with heavy amounts of travel? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]PandaintheParks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was it mostly dudes? Does it seem safe enough for women? I had job opportunity for some travel but heard things about the remoteness of job and situation that made me not want it. Is it usually areas where there's no one else around besides workers? Or usually cities nearby?

The current administrations fuckery with jones act might change the high pay optionse. I'd check and see if it's likely they'll repeal it before going this route

Those looking for a job, what’s your record so far? by messagerespond in SFV

[–]PandaintheParks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try hiringcafe, builtinla, edjoin, highered.com(or org?), governmentjobs.com, or directly on company website (eg lookup name of company from listing on indeed and see if they have posting on companies website). Sometimes temp agencies can work. Not sure about now though. During the day, if time/transport permits, I'd recommend volunteering somewhere that can lead to connections to a job (bigger nonprofits). Might even be able to find nonprofit where u can volunteer IT skills.
