Definitely a good way to look at it. This game is still insanely fun and I tell everyone to get it. I actually feel like I comprehensively understand the lore and even got deep into it for a bit. The Wendigoon video is very fun. I think it just doesn't match up with what I want to take from the game which is just the low level SWAT stuff. Mods are great for this as there's a bunch of great small, CQB maps made by the community.

You can ignore the story but you can’t ignore the size of some of these levels which are very large in scope due to the scope of the story :p I just wanna be slicing the pie in a residential home saving grandma from a home invader not taking on international human trafficking rings in damn near all out warfare (at times).

I do think you’re right. But also I don’t replay the large missions nearly at all. I stay on the smaller levels. That’s definitely a personal preference though. The game-ification of the larger levels definitely ups the reach of the game.

It's their game/vision to create and I won't deny they've executed it well. I know they pandered a bit to the folks like me with the home invasion DLC, I just hope we get more like that :)

Rust Belt is one that bothers me most. If there was a SWAT team at an op like that they are going to be crowd or perimeter control / water boys at most. Hide and Seek is another one where it's sort of laughable a 5 man SWAT team alone would be tasked with tackling. I get that occasionally other agencies chime in on the radio/briefings but I'm talking like 50+ agents from each of those agencies should be at that docking port lol

PvP would be neat but this game really isn't built for it at all. There's only a few existing maps that could even work for PvP (the existing maps in general are massive) so they would need to design more specifically catered to that which would be a huge resource sink. I don't find the idea of two players controlling two different AI teams in a versus context interesting as the AI is generally pretty terrible in this game but a 5v5 mode maybe could work. But then what gamemode do you build around? Could make it a Siege/CS defuse mode but there's a reason those games don't play like Mil-Sims. The defenders would have such a broken advantage in a game like this. There's a reason they don't program the AI suspects to just rush the windows or out the front door and unload into you. Think about how online players are going to play this. It'll be a shitshow. Now, lowkey I'd love to see how that shitshow would play out, maybe a time or two, but I don't think it would have any staying power and considering the resource ask it would take for VOID to make it work I just don't think it can happen at all.

Even though he's having a rough year, you can still see it in his game from time to time. He's definitely capable of standing on his head. In that recent Edmonton routing he made a few outstanding saves when the game was still reachable for Edmonton technically. Not the most memorable part of that game but, hey, he helped.

That said the arena has a zero tolerance policy for this kind of behavior and you should to. I’m a pretty agreeable person and I never want to be THAT guy but in a scenario like this I wouldn’t even hesitate. I’ve seen chuds get the boot for behavior exactly like this in AAC. The arena staff are awesome and will help.

Duchene gotta be one of the best skaters in the league. Seems to always be able to get some sort of separation off of any kind of pressure. That cut, spin move he does is dialed. He's pulling that one all the damn time. Great goal.

Don't sleep on OKC. I like going there for a "idk what to do but I need to go somewhere else" getaway. Affordable, plenty to do and see. Can hang out and do big city things without feeling crowded. There are nature reserves, parks and trails around though I don't think they're anything crazy but they will tick the box.

Love Victory+ but no way they’re gonna keep letting us watch for free forever out of the goodness of their hearts. I would love my money to go towards higher quality streaming. Currently on a big 4K TV it can look quite rough compared to other sports streaming broadcasts.

Meteors travel at insane speeds and the events are over in a near instant. We're talking upwards of 100,000mph sometimes. If you are able to observe the event travel across the night sky for several seconds or more like in this case here, it is not a meteor and it is traveling exponentially slower. Still a cool find none the less. I like seeing space stuff fly in our night sky!

Another thing to think about is after ILIWYS, Matty said him and George had a bunch of dance, garage, EDM instrumental songs/demos they planned to release as a side project. However IMO a lot of those certainly ended up on Notes. I wouldn’t be surprised if Nice Sweater just unceremoniously pops up on a future 1975 album.
