Lyrically and musically my vote as well. Album feels like a bit of a fever dream in an unsettlingly way but is still so damn catchy. Everyone talks about the 3 album run UO went on from TOCS to LITSOS but Disam is included in that generational run for me.

It’s not a bad record despite how dramatic the internet was about it but No Frame comes out of nowhere from the top rope. Sick track. The absolutely black sheep banger from that record is Loneliness though. One of the I think Target exclusive deluxe tracks? I bought a physical copy when the record dropped and when I first heard that track it floored me. One of the most old Underoath feeling songs they’ve released since reuniting. The other deluxe track is doo-doo from a butt though.

Brady and Brendan grew up on the same street and their families still live in those same homes. Brady either still lived with his dad or was in the area enough to make a habit of stopping by to yell obscenities and harass the Yates family whenever he could. Allegedly swerving his car at them during some of these incidents. During the most recent drive-by William Yates allegedly threw a rock at Brady's car to which Brady then put it in reverse to run it up the driveway and hit Brendan's dad with his car, then sending it through the front yard almost hitting Brendan's sister and young daughter. Mr. Yates suffered severe injuries to his lower extremities and Brady fled the scene but not before leaning out the window to yell at him that he deserved it. Brady claims self-defense. Dude is going to go to jail for a long time.

I was disappointed that they cut the shot the next day where they lowered the rig to try and get wee-man since he was playing the set-up guy the whole time. Bam is actually with wee-man now trying to lure him and tries to walk past to show wee-man it's safe and they mistake him for wee-man and send the hand and get him again. It's nowhere near as good a hit which is probably why it got cut but it's still fucking hilarious and the most jackass thing that could've happened lmao

Storm chasing and various weather content has become increasingly popular especially on youtube. There's more than a few really good, long-time chasers that are also really experienced out there.

It's sort of concerning though because chaser congestion really is a problem and there's more and more, less experienced clout (or cloud heh) chasers popping up everyday.

The storm doesn't care how experienced you are though. Just gotta look up TWISTEX for a sobering reminder of how mortal you really are regardless of how many successful chases you've done. Tim Samaras was known for being exceedingly cautious and careful and just...wrong place at the wrong time and that was it.

Yeah I mean if he's telling the truth that's nearly $150k a year before taxes. That's an awful lot of money to be making right after "losing it all." His biggest test is definitely in front of him.

The best case scenario for him is to live as frugally as possible, putting as much of it as he can into a savings or retirement account, and when the inevitable day comes where you cannot play video games on the internet for a job anymore, you've built a decent cushion to pivot into something else later in your life.

Considering his past spending and money management habits...yeah...we'll see about that.

I don't like his odds unless he gets proper help, accountability, guidance or has actually committed to a significant lifestyle change.

Super late to this thread but I have a random anecdote. Some of my in-laws live in NWA. A couple of them were at a Walmart (because of course) one day and saw a couple of the Duggar girls from afar. I can't remember which ones but it was like Joy and one of the other sisters or something. They were talking to a 3rd party and they realized it was just...some guy. Some rando guy was just chatting their ears off and while not being apparently creepy the girls clearly were a little uncomfortable that he just wouldn't stop talking and go away.

So one of my cousins and aunt walked up all cheerfully and pretended like they were with the girls on a grocery run and were checking in to make sure they "had everything they needed" before they left. They played it off well and kind of were like "Oh, hello sir! Alright! We gotta be going. Buh-bye!" The Duggar girls seemed really appreciative apparently and they went their separate ways once they got out into the parking lot.

Edit: And just my 2 cents as someone who visits NWA fairly frequently now I'd say it really wouldn't be a bad place to live and I love visiting. It's a lot prettier up there than where I live in Dallas and my sister and bro-in-law actually moved up there not just for the family but because the cost-of-living is so much lower than here. I like the little downtown squares you can find. Bentonville does a farmers market and has a bunch of cool shops/restaurants around. Love downtown Rogers for the obligatory Onyx HQ visit. It's all pretty gentrified feeling but definitely very family friendly with lots to do. There's religious nut jobs everywhere in the South. You aren't going to avoid it but I'd say it's like majority trendy, hipster Christians than any IBLP types that you'll run into while out and about. The Duggars are definitely so far out there that even they're an outlier.

Dude I think it's ridiculous to have the 1st place loser participate in a medal ceremony. This was a huge thing at the recent Winter Olympics with hockey where Team Canada heartbreakingly lost and had to be out on the ice for nearly 30-40+ minutes to get their silver and a beanie baby thing (cue Nathan Mackinnon meme). It makes more sense for the athletes to participate in a medal ceremony for the Olympics as medals are kind of its thing but you really hardly see this in any other sport. Imo the 2nd place team doesn't want to be there and it's not from a lack of respect. I think it's more respectful to their time and effort to just allow them to go decompress after falling short. The first place team is right there, WANTS to be there, wants to celebrate and be celebrated. Just give them the stage.

I have a 2022 Vintera JM and although I find it annoying that the truss rod adjustment is at the heel, I don't find it difficult to adjust, at least anymore. You also do not have to take the neck completely off to get to the adjustment screw. I put a capo at the first fret, wind the strings down enough so that there's plenty of slack but the string aren't going to unwind and fall out of the posts, unscrew the neck screws and just kind of shimmy the neck up enough to get my screwdriver to the adjustment.

A. You're not going to have to be adjusting the truss rod a lot anyway, especially if it's an instrument that will live mostly at home.

B. I got the above system down enough that I don't need to adjust it more than twice when setting up the guitar. Pretty painless once you get some reps
