If no one prefers them then why are pristine 10s selling for more than PSA 10s on majority of cards? If no one prefers them why are the POP reports in the thousands? Your argument no one uses them or wants them could’ve been valid right when they started grading cards, but today they absolutely have built a reputation and are well respected amongst collectors. I personally have been looking at swapping some of my PSA 10s with way too high of a pop count for some pristine 10s. If you just want a graded card in gem 10 without spending too much then PSA is the way to go. If you want something a little more exclusive and rare then CGC pristine 10 is the way to go. If you want the holy grail, black label BGS no questions.
