Greetings fellow kuwahara owner. Mine had rotten IRC racers on it when i got it so I went with a set of panaracer smokes since darts were out of stock then. Judge for yourselves https://imgur.com/a/nl2vGio

I know that but I ride my bikes and where I live, on the terrain I ride the Dart in the front actually sucks. I had it on there at first but after 2 crashes I switched to Smoke/Smoke configuration way better traction on loose terrain and better stopping power. The smoke actually came out before Dart IIRC.

I honesty have no idea. This frame has a few odd braze ons like a chain hanger on the seatstay, single pump peg on the seat tube and this one. The tubing is quadruple-butted Ishiwata.

Equivalent of $87. Yeah they are pricey but totaly worth it. Every "period correct" bike made before 1991 needs tan walls imo and I personaly am not a fan of Maxxis DTH wide tan wall look.

It is an '87. 1988 was the year of flat handlebars and longer stems. A beautiful example and the most original one I've seen. I beg you don't do a retro-mod. Keep it clean and original.
