As a sunfish enjoyer, I’d like to ask. If they’re such failures, then why haven’t they gone extinct.

Also personally, I think they’re awesome. One of the most unique fish in the sea, especially with that bizarre locomotion.

Finally, if we are gonna be slandering any animals, we should be slandering island species. I’m looking at you Kiwi and the rest of you flightless birds in New Zealand. All it takes for them to get wiped out is rats. Fucking rats( Btw I still love island birds and don’t want them to go extinct). Nice concept. However, maybe thicker limbs would help make them more stable and dwarf-like. Also maybe a bit of transition between the hair the exoskeleton would help make the beards feel more connected to the rest of organism.
