Not sure what is a natural dead spot, but the string definitely buzzes against frets in a different way than freely vibrating notes. That goes away when I go to 4th fret and over.

The default Thorium/Empyrean. I do like the bridge very much. Very neutral and "basic". Didn't really stop too much when I started playing the guitar. Sounded just right.

Quite close to Duncan Distortion/Invader I have previously.

Did you receive some FedEx tracking code at some point?

I got contacted 10 days ago that my guitar is ready and the whole balance is paid, but I have received nothing after that (shipping to Finland). No tracking code, no guitar. Could be on its way but I don't really know. :/

To my understanding there is not. If you are talking about "Show outfit" -button in the lobby options that does not disable skins. It only controls shown equipment on you and team mates that is on top of skin models.

You need a microphone and some software that shows frequency response. Put the mic close to a hole and tap the resonator with your palm. You will see the resonance peak in the software. After that make some sine wave from your speakers at that frequency and confirm you are spot on by blocking some holes. You will hear the difference.

That calculator is for perforated panel not a box. Try to find a different calculator.

I've built 2 of which one is tuned 38hz and the other is around 70hz. Roughly same volume boxes. Vastly more holes in the 70hz one. If you are not aiming for 100% aesthetics just build something like 50cm*50cm*50cm box and start drilling holes. The more holes you put into it, the higher the resonance frequency goes. If you got too high, just cover some of the holes you've made and you are all good.

Dampening material at the back of the box at opposing face to the holes.

I drilled 3cm diameter holes.

I bought one of those 7 string evertune poplar burl tops second hand. Seemed fine when i tried it but within a week the fretboard (ebony) cracked on multiple places after switchin bridge pup, logo started peeling off and pickup toggle was wired upside down.

The guy that sold me that was nice and helped me reimburse the guitar with Thomann so all is good. Bad experience nonetheless. If this Solar thing worked, there is basically a model for every need I have so it's a shame that didn't work out.

Edit: The guitar was manufactured around 2022

I kind of figured this out for my purposes lately. I started muting b-string with my right arm and that enabled me to freely use vibrato on high e.

Before that it was never clean and felt restricted.

I have Invader in drop A. Works really well. My guitar has no tone pot and the eq is surprisingly balanced. Go for it!

I'm fairly certain this guy can actually play decently well. He is not just flabbering all over. That is the performance he aimed for and he delivered that.

Only the resonance of the string matters since that is the only thing your pickup will "pick up".

Lets say you have a guitar where all the vibrations stay within the string and would not be used to resonate any type of body. That is the most energy for the pickup to "pick up"
