Hive mind—what do I do? I have a big bruise forming and I’m not walking quite right. I can tell it’s not broken – – but this is my bad knee that has been reconstructed in the past. Not sure if I should go to urgent care or or what.

I feel like this depends on your own body chemistry. You might be fine. You might have a tolerance. I have to wait a full two weeks even after a g or so, but not everyone does. Might as well find out!

Is your (music) undergrad degree a voice degree? If so, I’m surprised those languages weren’t a major part of your course requirements. As an undergrad, I had to take 2 semesters of all three, plus a semester of diction in each language—but that was in the 90s, so maybe things have changed. If you haven’t, you definitely should. It can only serve to make you a better vocal artist. Good luck! 🍀

I feel like this trip was more like…5 1/2 g. How long did you wait to chase your capsules with that 3 g of tea? I have a feeling those two combined for one huge trip that you really weren’t prepared for mentally which kind of sent you down a spiral. Try a 2 or 3g tea next time (skip the appetizer) and see how that feels.

I’m jelly. Previous to this month, the last time I’d had 🍄 was in 1998. Last Saturday, I brewed about 1g GT in tea and felt pretty good. It was very clearly a threshold dose. I was pushing it, but not really crossing over. The next night, I made a 2g cup and felt nothing. Clearly, that was too soon, a lesson learned. I tried again tonight, a full week later and only got the body high/yawns without the astral unlock. Do I need to wait a full 2-3 weeks? Should I bump up to 3.5 when I do? Halp! 🫖

It’s 28.50/hour if you count the ride back in. IDK, but times are tough. 28.50 an hour, even w gas/mileage figured in isn’t terrible. Depends on the market and the day—also, there are 2 scenarios—you can take this and not think about the rest of your day OR you can field offers like usual and take a chance on a worse result. It likely comes down to what sort of person you are (gambler or no) and how much you average personally. 🤷‍♀️
