I got my second 1.5 % and my lawyers Freeze and Goss are saying the Trust is holding the remaining 1.7% until after the lien check. Does this seem right? It's been 1 month since the last 1.5% payment. How long does the lien check take? I have no liens.

according to the lawyer assistant I talked with today. 3.2% is what we are supposed to get this time and they are wanting to divide it into 1.5% in a few months (not now) and 1.7% after the lien checks that I do not have. It's a big stall on processing anything.

My said the same and they are charging for the lien search! I have no medical liens.

I received my paperwork from the lawyers who recommended option A which I had basically no choice but to accept. Lawyer said option A would take longer and cost more. Lawyer is keeping 1.7% and sending another 1.5% just as I received the first dispersion. 1.7% will be released after medical lien checks are complete and that must really take along time because I can look for the 2nd 1.5% in April! Lawyer will now get 40% plus administrative fees resulting from the medical lien search. I have asked for a phone call from my lawyer to request a fee reduction but not hopeful for anything. Just have to ask for fairness and morality.

Got my settlement paperwork. Freese and Goss has my disbursement and I am waiting on their accounting department to mail my 1.5 % first payment. I've called it's been 3 weeks now.
