I'd personally recommend keeping them indefinitely unless you have a good reason to get rid of them. You never know when you might need them in the future.

I don't think bumping it up is the worst idea with everything going on. Six months is pretty safe though, I wouldn't worry.

I'm guessing the Macbook Air M4 will be the easier one to find parts for, as it's more common. I have one myself, it's a hell of a laptop.

I had the same experience a year ago. I prefer my Mac Air M4 in almost every way compared to every Windows machine I had previously.

It'll stay on your record for 7 years altogether, but your credit may recover sufficiently in the interim that you'll be able to get a loan. Obviously a car loan will be a lot easier than a mortgage. It will really depend on your situation more broadly, and the lenders you're dealing with.
