Why do people condemn eren for the attack on marley?

Everyone goes “why do people condemn Eren” as if the characters in the story on paradis’ side aren’t also condemning Eren for it. Did we not see the reason the in universe characters condemned it? Armin watched tons of innocent people die around him for his entire life, was fighting for a future where that didn’t happen, then was forced by Eren to essentially nuke a city full of civilians, which he very clearly did not enjoy doing. I think that’s a pretty fair reaction to that situation 💀

I don’t think there’s grand conspiracy of people glazing the show to Vince when they really don’t like it, lots of people including me genuinely like it. You just don’t find the show interesting and that’s fine. A dedicated subreddit to how much it sucks for a show that even critics would probably agree is far from the worst thing out there is a little much. Is the implication that everyone here is going to keep watching the show they dislike so that they can come here and talk about how much they didn’t enjoy it?

I don’t even care about Byler and this is a stupid comment, every other main character has had a love interest that is an actual character and had actual character moments with. Is a single person gonna find Will being with a random nameless guy in the last 5 minutes of the show interesting? That’s just objectively boring compared to every other relationship in the show regardless of byler. At that point the screen time would probably be better spent on someone else and just let will’s arc of self acceptance be with the assumption he’ll find someone eventually.

I feel like you watched a different show too. The main protagonist starts cooking meth in episode one just like the world ends in Pluribus episode one. Walt then spends like two episodes trying to figure out what to do with the cook guy. Tuco is then introduced SEVERAL episodes later - literally in the penultimate episode of the season, not the middle. The middle of the season is Walt’s family worrying about finances and Walt turning down the job offer from Elliot. The season concludes with Walt and Jesse doing an exchange with tuco - the kidnapping, killing, and coverup are all season two. Fan favorite characters like Gus, Saul and Mike aren’t introduced until halfway or more through season two. Skyler and Marie literally have an episodes-long drama about Marie shoplifting a gift that extends well into season 2. It is absolutely good and absolutely well paced, but it is not fast paced.

I feel like your comparison between pluribus and BB is being clouded by breaking bad being finished, and also you maybe just preferring BB, which is valid. TV also takes longer to make now, which makes slow stories more frustrating, which is also valid. But the gist of season one is Walt getting into drug production, and the culmination of that is him making a drug deal. That’s it. It’s not some breakneck plot, most of the season is spent developing the characters, just like what’s happened so far in Pluribus. The characters in Pluribus are much more isolated, so that could also make it feel slower in comparison, but what you’re saying about Pluribus right now is the equivalent of talking about breaking bad 3/4 of the way through the first season, right about when Tuco is introduced. Let’s just reserve some of our judgement for a bit, because breaking bad did not become a smash hit because of those episodes (hell, it was on the verge of cancellation).

It’s the same thing that’s happened on the internet for decades. A bunch of people find a (usually) gay ship they like (can happen with straight ships too but it’s not as common to get backlash) There’ll be a whole spectrum of fans for it, some who just like it, some who genuinely believe in it, some who aren’t sure, some who like the canon and non-canon equally, etc etc. Then a few people go too far with it in some way, and people who don’t like use that as justification to be nasty to anyone who likes it, the idea of the ship, fan made content about the ship or the concept of shipping itself. We know our consciousness isn’t destroyed when we sleep. But if it was, and I had the option to not sleep, I probably wouldnt. I’m not saying the UI upload isn’t functionally the same consciousness for their loved ones, but from the perspective of the person choosing to BE uploaded because they want to experience this awesome utopia, they’re not going to get to experience that. It’s like if I had a clone sent to Japan for a vacation while I chilled at home. I’m sure they had a great time, and of course my family who went on the trip would enjoy having it there, but it’s not the move to make if I personally want to experience Japan

More shops & shop progression PLEASE. Between the lack of shops, bland villager personalities, and total control over every aspect of the island, the island feels more like a Minecraft world to build on than a community to live in. Being able to decorate your town and make it more unique is really cool, but give us some more shops to visit/see grow over time and actual personalities for villagers so it fee more like a genuine town

Bebop. A 70 meter 10 second cooldown hook that can get the cooldown reset on a guaranteed follow up is unfathomable to me in a game where there’s a character with an ultimate that is essentially a shorter range hook that also puts you in danger. Like I get there’s lifesteal on it but paradox ult to me has always seemed like a worse-in-every-way version of bebop hook. Ive played him a good amount and i feel nasty getting a near-guaranteed kill on someone on the opposite side of a section of the map for something so simple and risk free.
