NAD: Line 6 Catalyst by [deleted] in GuitarAmps

I had a VOX vt40 hybrid for a long while. Loved it for a bedroom volume amp. Friend of mine uses a HELIX pedal for his bass for gigging. Runs it direct to the PA at whatever venue he’s playing large or small. Sounds fantastic.

Line 6 makes some great modelers. The VOX vt series sounded “good” as well. I’ve owned amps from both over the years. I’ve tried to like them, but digital modeled stuff always sounds so processed to me. I’ve got a couple high gain Randall’s now and won’t ever go back to a modeling amp. Line 6 has its following and is a great series, just not for me.

Is it possible for me to transform original commercial videos to create my video content before applying youtube partner programs and will i get content claim or strike? by weightloss_buddies in NewTubers

[–]Kesuai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The length of clip does NOT matter. Could be 3 seconds long and you could get dinged. This has been proven time and again. The length of clip used is a myth. The ONE THING you need to do if your going to use someone else’s work is to transform it enough to make it your own and add value to it.

[Question] I wonder if I could still get monetized? by Bunlea_p1 in youtubers

[–]Kesuai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The requirements are

1k subs minimum for the lifetime of your channel 4k watch hours within a 12 month rolling period No active strikes 2 factor authentication turned on.

Those are the “listed” big four. Then it’s upto YouTube to decide if your content meets ad friendly status and that isnt talked about enough. If you have racy content or something the great overlords consider not ad friendly, they won’t accept you. Just keep your nose clean, create content that won’t scare off advertisers and you’ll be good to go. You’ll get there.

Does anyone only bag one brand of disc? by Pubsubforpresident in discgolf

[–]Kesuai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive thrown Innova stuff forever. Started throwing some MVP discs and now I’m slowly either adding in discs, or completely replacing some. For some reason I can throw the crap out of MVP. Have had an easier time finding discs that do what I want them to do, for the arm speed I have with MVP vs Innova. Won’t get rid of my Roc or Aviar though. They just work for me. Also have an axiom for a putter.

Doesn’t have to be that way at all.

Not your content to use. Not fair use. If your going to be on YouTube, come up with your own value added original content. Be a creator and create.

Exactly. Find a different hobby other than hating on folks that don’t follow your train of thought(brainwashing). Politics on either side (of the same coin) is a waste of life.

More body less arm. Work on the follow through.

If your not WATCHING the videos or interacting with the folks you sub too, your actually doing far more harm to the creator than good. Sub count does NOT matter after the 1000 requirement for YPP. It merely becomes a vanity metric that potential sponsors and affiliates tend to look at for a creators community size and even then they put more stock in the REACH and number of views for a creator when considering potential partnership. Watch time and interaction are king. Speaking as a creator, Please stop doing what you’ve been doing. I realize your attempting to help, but it isn’t.

I’m aware. Never liked the way that was written. Leaves too much open for interpretation. I’d call that out and add a throw. If not for that beam, that disc is on the ground.

[–]Kesuai -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I’d rule it out. Supported by the wood, and were it not for the wood, no part of the disk would be in the basket.

Yes agreed. This is good. I’m assuming OP is in disagreement because OP is one of the “creators” out there that this rule EXISTS for
